Belo socorro prestou aos fracos!

3 Como esclareceu minha ignorância!

Sábio conselho ofereceu!

4 De onde tirou todas essas palavras de sabedoria?

De quem é o espírito que fala por seu intermédio?

5 "Tremem os mortos,

aqueles que vivem debaixo das águas.

6 O lugar dos mortos*26.6a Em hebraico, O Sheol. está nu diante de Deus;

o lugar de destruição*26.6b Em hebraico, Abadom. está descoberto.

7 Deus estende o céu do norte sobre o vazio

e suspende a terra sobre o nada.

8 Envolve a chuva com densas nuvens,

e elas não se rompem com o peso da água.

9 Encobre a face da lua*26.9 Ou Cobre seu trono.

e a esconde com suas nuvens.

10 Criou o horizonte ao separar as águas

e definiu o limite entre dia e noite.

11 Tremem os alicerces do céu,

estremecem diante de sua repreensão.

12 Com seu poder, acalmou o mar;

com sua habilidade, despedaçou o monstro marinho.*26.12 Em hebraico, Raabe, monstro marinho mítico que, na literatura antiga, representava o caos.

13 Com seu sopro,*26.13 Ou seu Espírito. trouxe beleza aos céus;

com sua mão, feriu a serpente veloz.

14 Isso é apenas o começo de tudo que ele faz,

um mero sussurro de sua força;

quem pode compreender o trovão de seu poder?".
