1 "When you allot the land as a possession, you shall set apart for the LORD a portion of the land as a holy district, twenty-five thousand cubits long and twenty thousand cubits broad; it shall be holy throughout its whole extent.2 Of this a square plot of five hundred by five hundred cubits shall be for the sanctuary, with fifty cubits for an open space around it.3 And in the holy district you shall measure off a section twenty-five thousand cubits long and ten thousand broad, in which shall be the sanctuary, the most holy place.4 It shall be the holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, who minister in the sanctuary and approach the LORD to minister to him; and it shall be a place for their houses and a holy place for the sanctuary.5 Another section, twenty-five thousand cubits long and ten thousand cubits broad, shall be for the Levites who minister at the temple, as their possession for cities to live in.6 "Alongside the portion set apart as the holy district you shall assign for the possession of the city an area five thousand cubits broad, and twenty-five thousand cubits long; it shall belong to the whole house of Israel.7 "And to the prince shall belong the land on both sides of the holy district and the property of the city, alongside the holy district and the property of the city, on the west and on the east, corresponding in length to one of the tribal portions, and extending from the western to the eastern boundary of the land.8 It is to be his property in Israel. And my princes shall no more oppress my people; but they shall let the house of Israel have the land according to their tribes.9 "Thus says the Lord GOD: Enough, O princes of Israel! Put away violence and oppression, and execute justice and righteousness; cease your evictions of my people, says the Lord GOD.10 "You shall have just balances, a just ephah, and a just bath.11 The ephah and the bath shall be of the same measure, the bath containing one tenth of a homer, and the ephah one tenth of a homer; the homer shall be the standard measure.12 The shekel shall be twenty gerahs; five shekels shall be five shekels, and ten shekels shall be ten shekels, and your mina shall be fifty shekels.13 "This is the offering which you shall make: one sixth of an ephah from each homer of wheat, and one sixth of an ephah from each homer of barley,14 and as the fixed portion of oil, one tenth of a bath from each cor (the cor, like the homer, contains ten baths);15 and one sheep from every flock of two hundred, from the families of Israel. This is the offering for cereal offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings, to make atonement for them, says the Lord GOD.16 All the people of the land shall give this offering to the prince in Israel.17 It shall be the prince's duty to furnish the burnt offerings, cereal offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the new moons, and the sabbaths, all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he shall provide the sin offerings, cereal offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.18 "Thus says the Lord GOD: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary.19 The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the temple, the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and the posts of the gate of the inner court.20 You shall do the same on the seventh day of the month for any one who has sinned through error or ignorance; so you shall make atonement for the temple.21 "In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, you shall celebrate the feast of the passover, and for seven days unleavened bread shall be eaten.22 On that day the prince shall provide for himself and all the people of the land a young bull for a sin offering.23 And on the seven days of the festival he shall provide as a burnt offering to the LORD seven young bulls and seven rams without blemish, on each of the seven days; and a he-goat daily for a sin offering.24 And he shall provide as a cereal offering an ephah for each bull, an ephah for each ram, and a hin of oil to each ephah.25 In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month and for the seven days of the feast, he shall make the same provision for sin offerings, burnt offerings, and cereal offerings, and for the oil.

1 Quando a terra for dividida entre as tribos, uma parte deverá ser separada para Deus, o Senhor. Essa parte medirá doze quilômetros e meio por dez quilômetros e será santa. 2 Nessa área, será reservado para o Templo um terreno quadrado, de duzentos e cinquenta metros de cada lado. Em volta desse terreno haverá um espaço livre de vinte e cinco metros de largura. 3 Da área total será separado um terreno de doze quilômetros e meio de comprimento por cinco de largura. Ali ficará o Templo, que é o lugar mais sagrado de todos. 4 Esta será a parte santa da terra de Israel, separada para os sacerdotes que servem o Senhor no seu Templo. Ali eles terão as suas casas, e ali ficará a área sagrada do Templo. 5 Além disso, haverá outro terreno de doze quilômetros e meio de comprimento por cinco de largura, separado para ser propriedade dos levitas, que fazem o serviço no Templo. Ali haverá cidades para eles morarem. 6 Ao lado da área santa haverá outra área de doze quilômetros e meio por dois e meio, separada para ser uma cidade em que qualquer israelita poderá morar.

7 Uma parte da terra de Israel será do rei. Partindo da área santa e dos terrenos da cidade, a parte do rei irá na direção oeste até o mar Mediterrâneo, e a leste até a divisa oriental. De leste a oeste, terá o mesmo comprimento de uma das áreas das tribos de Israel. 8 Esta será a parte que o rei terá na terra de Israel; assim ele nunca mais explorará o povo, porém deixará que o resto do país pertença às tribos de Israel.

9 O Senhor Deus diz:

— Autoridades de Israel, parem de pecar! Deixem a violência! Deixem de explorar o povo! Façam o que é direito e justo! Nunca mais expulsem o meu povo da terra deles! Sou eu, o Senhor Deus, quem está dizendo isso.

10 — Todos devem usar medidas e pesos certos.

11 — O efa, para medir cereais, deverá ser igual ao bato, que mede líquidos. O padrão é o ômer . Um ômer será igual a dez efas ou dez batos.

12 — O peso de um siclo será igual ao de vinte geras. Uma mina será igual a sessenta siclos.

13,14 — As suas ofertas deverão ser feitas nas seguintes bases: do trigo que vocês colherem, entreguem uma parte em sessenta; da cevada, a mesma coisa; do azeite, uma parte em cem do que as suas árvores produzirem. Usem o bato como medida. Dez batos são iguais a um ômer ou a um coro. 15 Das ovelhas dos pastos de Israel, entreguem uma de cada duzentas.

— Vocês trarão as ofertas de cereais, os animais para serem completamente queimados e os animais para as ofertas de paz a fim de que assim os pecados de vocês sejam perdoados. Eu, o Senhor Deus, ordeno isso.

16 — Todo o povo do país deverá levar essas ofertas ao rei de Israel. 17 Em favor de toda a nação de Israel, o rei terá o dever de apresentar os animais que serão completamente queimados, as ofertas de cereais e as ofertas de vinho. Ele fará isso nas Festas da Lua Nova, nos sábados e em todas as outras festas. O rei apresentará as ofertas para tirar pecados, as ofertas de cereais, as ofertas a serem completamente queimadas e as ofertas de paz para que os pecados do povo de Israel sejam perdoados.

18 O Senhor Deus disse:

— No primeiro dia do primeiro mês, vocês oferecerão como sacrifício um touro sem nenhum defeito e purificarão o Templo. 19 O sacerdote pegará uma parte do sangue do animal apresentado como oferta para tirar pecados e porá esse sangue nos batentes da porta do Templo, nas quatro pontas do altar e nos batentes dos portões do pátio de dentro. 20 No sétimo dia do mês, ele fará a mesma coisa em favor de qualquer pessoa que tenha cometido algum pecado sem intenção ou por ignorância. Assim vocês conservarão santo o Templo.

21 — No dia catorze do primeiro mês, vocês começarão a comemorar a Festa da Páscoa. Durante sete dias, todos comerão pão sem fermento. 22 No primeiro dia da Festa, o rei oferecerá um touro como sacrifício para tirar os seus pecados e os pecados do povo. 23 Em cada um dos sete dias da Festa, ele oferecerá como sacrifício ao Senhor Deus sete touros e sete carneiros sem defeito e os queimará completamente. E todos os dias também oferecerá como sacrifício um bode como oferta para tirar pecados. 24 Para cada touro e cada carneiro que for oferecido em sacrifício, haverá uma oferta de dezessete litros e meio de cereais e três litros de azeite.

25 — Na Festa das Barracas, que começa no dia quinze do sétimo mês, o rei oferecerá em cada um dos sete dias o mesmo sacrifício para tirar pecados, as mesmas ofertas que serão completamente queimadas e as mesmas ofertas de cereais e de azeite.
