1 Und das Wort des HERRN erging folgendermaßen an mich: 2 Du, Menschensohn, willst du richten, willst du die blutdürstige Stadt richten? So halte ihr alle ihre Greuel vor und sprich: 3 So spricht Gott, der HERR: O Stadt, die in ihrer Mitte Blut vergießt, daß ihre Zeit komme, und die bei sich selbst Götzen macht, daß sie sich verunreinige! 4 Du hast dich durch das Blut, welches du vergossen hast, verschuldet und durch deine selbstgemachten Götzen verunreinigt; du hast bewirkt, daß deine Tage herzunahen, und bist zu deinen Jahren gekommen! Darum will ich dich zuschanden machen unter den Heiden und zum Spott für alle Länder. 5 Sie seien nahe oder fern von dir, so sollen sie dich verspotten, weil du einen schlimmen Ruf hast und voll Verwirrung bist. 6 Siehe, die Fürsten Israels haben ein jeder seine Gewalt in dir mißbraucht, um Blut zu vergießen. 7 Man hat in dir Vater und Mutter verachtet, man hat in deiner Mitte dem Fremdling Gewalt angetan, man hat in dir Witwen und Waisen bedrängt. 8 Meine Heiligtümer hast du verachtet und meine Sabbate entheiligt. 9 Verleumder sind in dir, um Blut zu vergießen; und man hat bei dir auf den Bergen gegessen; man hat in deiner Mitte Schandtaten begangen. 10 Man hat in dir des Vaters Blöße aufgedeckt; man hat in dir die Frauen zur Zeit ihrer Unreinigkeit geschwächt. 11 Die Männer haben mit ihres Nächsten Weib Greuel verübt und ihre eigenen Sohnsfrauen mit Unzucht befleckt; sie haben bei dir ihre Schwestern, Töchter ihres Vaters, geschwächt. 12 Man hat in dir Geschenke angenommen, um Blut zu vergießen. Du hast Wucher und Zins genommen und deine Nächsten mit Gewalt übervorteilt und meiner vergessen, spricht Gott, der HERR. 13 Darum siehe, ich habe meine Hände zusammengeschlagen über den Gewinn, welchen du gemacht hast, und über dein Blutvergießen, welches in dir geschehen ist. 14 Wird dein Herz es aushalten und werden deine Hände stark sein in den Tagen, da ich mit dir abrechnen werde? Ich, der HERR, habe es geredet und will es auch tun. 15 Ich will dich unter die Heiden versprengen und in die Länder zerstreuen und deine Unreinigkeit gänzlich von dir tun. 16 Also wirst du durch dich selbst entweiht werden vor den Augen der Heiden, auf daß du erfahrest, daß ich der HERR bin! 17 Und das Wort des HERRN erging also an mich: 18 Menschensohn, das Haus Israel ist mir zu Schlacken geworden! Sie alle sind wie Erz, Zinn, Eisen und Blei im Schmelzofen; Silberschlacken sind sie geworden. 19 Darum spricht Gott, der HERR: Weil ihr alle zu Schlacken geworden seid, so will ich euch mitten in Jerusalem zusammenbringen; 20 wie man Silber, Erz, Eisen, Blei und Zinn mitten in einem Schmelzofen zusammentut und ein Feuer darunter anbläst, um es zu schmelzen, also will ich auch euch in meinem Zorn und in meinem Grimm zusammenbringen, einlegen und schmelzen. 21 Ich will euch versammeln und das Feuer meines grimmigen Zorns unter euch anzünden, daß ihr darin geschmolzen werden sollt. 22 Wie das Silber im Schmelzofen geschmolzen wird, so sollt auch ihr darin geschmolzen werden, und ihr sollt erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, meinen grimmigen Zorn über euch ausgegossen habe. 23 Und das Wort des HERRN erging an mich also: 24 Menschensohn, sprich zu ihm: Du bist ein Land, das nicht beregnet worden ist, das keinen Regenguß empfangen hat am Tage des Zorns. 25 Seine Propheten, die darinnen sind, haben sich miteinander verschworen, Seelen zu verschlingen wie ein brüllender Löwe, der den Raub zerreißt; sie reißen Reichtum und Gut an sich und machen viele Witwen darin. 26 Seine Priester tun meinem Gesetz Gewalt an und entweihen meine Heiligtümer; sie machen keinen Unterschied zwischen dem Heiligen und Unheiligen und lehren nicht unterscheiden zwischen dem Unreinen und Reinen! Sie verbergen ihre Augen vor meinen Sabbaten, und ich werde unter ihnen entheiligt. 27 Seine Obern, welche darin wohnen, sind wie räuberische Wölfe; sie vergießen Blut, verderben Seelen, nur um Gewinn zu machen! 28 Und seine Propheten tünchen ihnen mit losem Kalk: sie schauen Trug und wahrsagen ihnen Lügen und sagen: «So spricht Gott, der HERR!» während doch der HERR gar nicht geredet hat. 29 Das Volk des Landes ist gewalttätig, stiehlt, unterdrückt die Armen und Dürftigen und mißhandelt den Fremdling gegen alles Recht! 30 Und ich suchte unter ihnen einen Mann, der eine Mauer bauen und vor mir für das Land in den Riß treten könnte, damit es nicht zugrunde gehe; aber ich fand keinen! 31 Da schüttete ich meinen Zorn über sie aus, rieb sie im Feuer meines Grimmes auf und brachte ihren Wandel auf ihren Kopf, spricht Gott, der HERR.

13 "Nanā, kua pākia e ahau tōku ringa ki tāu hao taonga i hao ai koe, ki ōu toto anō kua heke nā i waenganui i a koe. 14 E ū rānei tōu ngākau, e pakari rānei ōu ringa, i ngā rā e mahi ai ahau ki a koe?
