Vários símiles e lições morais

1 Estes também são *Pv 1.1provérbios de Salomão, os quais transcreveram os homens de Ezequias, rei de Judá.

2 É a glória de Deus *Dt 29.29;Rm 11.33encobrir as coisas,

mas a glória dos *Ed 6.1reis, esquadrinhá-las.

3 O céu na sua altura, a terra na sua profundidade

e o coração dos reis são inescrutáveis.

4 Tirai da prata a *Pv 26.23;Ez 22.18escória,

e dela o *Ml 3.2-3ourives tirará um vaso.

5 Tirai de diante do rei *Pv 20.8o perverso,

e o seu *Pv 16.12trono será estabelecido na justiça.

nem te ponhas no lugar dos grandes,

assim é aquele que canta canções ao coração triste.
