Jeová é um auxílio contra os traiçoeiros

1 Salva, Jeová! Porque se acabam *Is 57.1;Mq 7.2os piedosos;

por que os fiéis desaparecem dentre os filhos dos homens?

2 *Sl 41.6Falam a falsidade uns aos outros,

falam com lábios *Sl 28.3;55.21;Jr 9.8;Rm 16.18lisonjeiros e coração refolhado.

3 Corte Jeová todos os lábios lisonjeiros

e a língua que *Dn 7.8;Ap 13.5fala coisas pomposas:

os nossos lábios a nós nos pertencem; quem sobre nós é senhor?

5 Por causa da *Sl 9.9;10.18desolação dos aflitos,

por causa do gemido dos necessitados,
