1 *Apressa-te, ó Deus, em me livrar;

dá-te pressa, ó Jeová, em me socorrer.

2 Sejam envergonhados e confundidos

aqueles que buscam tirar-me a vida;

sejam obrigados a voltar atrás e cubram-se de ignomínia

os que folgam no meu mal.

3 Voltem para trás de vergonha

os que dizem: Ah! Ah!

4 Folguem e em ti se alegrem

todos os que te buscam.

Digam continuamente os que amam a tua salvação:

Magnificado seja Deus!

5 Mas, quanto a mim, pobre e necessitado,

*apressa-te em me valer, ó Deus.

Tu és o meu amparo e o meu libertador;

Ó Jeová, não tardes.

1 Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.*

2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

5 But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
