Levítico 3

1 "‘If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he offers it from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before Yahweh. 2 He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood around on the altar. 3 He shall offer of the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh. The fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards, 4 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away. 5 Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar on the burnt offering, which is on the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

6 "‘If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh is from the flock, either male or female, he shall offer it without defect. 7 If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before Yahweh; 8 and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar. 9 He shall offer from the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh; its fat, the entire tail fat, he shall take away close to the backbone; and the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat that is on the entrails, 10 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away. 11 The priest shall burn it on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire to Yahweh.

12 "‘If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Yahweh. 13 He shall lay his hand on its head, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar. 14 He shall offer from it as his offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh; the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards, 15 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away. 16 The priest shall burn them on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire, for a pleasant aroma; all the fat is Yahweh’s.

17 "‘It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’"

Gemenskapsoffret

1 *3 Mos 7:11f. Om någon vill bära fram ett gemenskapsoffer*3:1gemenskapsofferAnnan översättning: "fridsoffer" (hebr. shlamím, jfr shalóm). Gemenskapsoffret delades mellan Gud, prästen och offerföljet (se 7:11f). Det var ett festligt tillfälle att äta kött i gemenskap med Gud och varandra (se t ex 5 Mos 27:7, 1 Kung 3:15). och han då vill ta sitt offer av nötboskapen, ska han föra fram ett felfritt djur inför Herrens ansikte, antingen av hankön eller honkön. 2 Han ska lägga sin hand på offerdjurets huvud och sedan slakta det vid ingången till uppenbarelsetältet, och Arons söner, prästerna, ska stänka blodet runt omkring på altaret. 3 *2 Mos 29:13, 22. Av gemenskapsoffret ska han som eldsoffer åt Herren bära fram det fett som omsluter inälvorna och allt det fett som sitter på dem, 4 de båda njurarna med det fett som sitter på dem vid höftmusklerna och leverfettet som han ska ta loss tillsammans med njurarna. 5 *2 Mos 29:25. Sedan ska Arons söner bränna det på altaret, ovanpå brännoffret som ligger på den brinnande veden. Detta är ett eldsoffer till en ljuvlig doft för Herren.

6 Om någon vill bära fram ett gemenskapsoffer åt Herren av småboskapen, ska han ta ett felfritt djur av hankön eller honkön. 7 Om han vill offra ett får, ska han föra fram det inför Herrens ansikte. 8 Och han ska lägga sin hand på offerdjurets huvud och sedan slakta det framför uppenbarelsetältet och Arons söner ska stänka blodet runt omkring på altaret. 9 Av gemenskapsoffret ska han som eldsoffer åt Herren offra fettet, hela fettsvansen, avstyckad vid ryggraden, det fett som omsluter inälvorna och allt det fett som sitter på dem, 10 båda njurarna med det fett som sitter på dem vid höftmusklerna samt leverfettet, som han ska ta loss tillsammans med njurarna. 11 Och prästen ska bränna det på altaret. Det är ett matoffer, ett eldsoffer åt Herren.

12 Om någon vill offra en get, ska han föra fram den inför Herrens ansikte, 13 lägga sin hand på dess huvud och slakta den framför uppenbarelsetältet och Arons söner ska stänka blodet runt omkring på altaret. 14 Som ett eldsoffer åt Herren ska han offra det fett som omsluter inälvorna och allt det fett som sitter på dem, 15 båda njurarna med det fett som sitter på dem vid höftmusklerna samt leverfettet, som han ska ta loss tillsammans med njurarna. 16 Sedan ska prästen bränna det på altaret. Det är ett matoffer, ett eldsoffer till en ljuvlig doft. Detta ska vara en evig stadga för er från släkte till släkte, var ni än bor. Inget fett och inget blod ska ni förtära.
