Salmos 20

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

1 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;*20.1 defend…: Heb. set thee on an high place

2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;*20.2 thee help: Heb. thy help*20.2 strengthen: Heb. support

3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.*20.3 accept: Heb. turn to ashes: or, make fat

4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

9 Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.

1 Přednímu zpěváku, žalm Davidův. 2 Vyslyšiž tě Hospodin v den ssoužení, k zvýšení tě přiveď jméno Boha Jákobova. 3 Sešliž tobě pomoc z svatyně, a z Siona utvrzuj tě. 4 Rozpomeniž se na všecky oběti tvé, a zápaly tvé v popel obrať. Sélah. 5 Dejž tobě vše podlé srdce tvého, a všelikou radu tvou vyplň. 6 I budeme prozpěvovati o spasení tvém, a ve jménu Boha našeho korouhve vyzdvihneme; naplniž Hospodin všecky prosby tvé. 7 Nyníť jsme poznali, že Hospodin zachoval svého pomazaného, a že jej vyslyšel s nebe svatého svého; nebo v jeho přesilné pravici jest spasení. 8 Tito v vozích, jiní v koních doufají, ale my jméno Hospodina Boha našeho sobě připomínáme. 9 A protož oni sehnuti jsou, a padli, ale my povstali jsme, a zmužile stojíme. 10 Hospodine, zachovávejž nás, i král ať slyší nás, když k němu volati budeme.
