Salmos 22

To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.

1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?*22.1 Aijeleth…: or, the hind of the morning*22.1 helping…: Heb. my salvation

2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.*22.2 am…: Heb. there is no silence to me

3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,*22.7 shoot…: Heb. open

8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.*22.8 He trusted…: Heb. He rolled himself on*22.8 seeing…: or, if he delight in

9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts.*22.9 didst…: or, kept me in safety

10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly.

11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.*22.11 none…: Heb. not a helper

12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.*22.13 gaped…: Heb. opened their mouths against me

14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.*22.14 out of…: or, sundered

15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

19 But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.*22.20 my darling: Heb. my only one*22.20 power: Heb. hand

21 Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

23 Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

25 My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

28 For the kingdom is the LORD’s: and he is the governor among the nations.

29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

Vzdálils se od spasení mého a od slov naříkání mého. 3 Bože můj, přes celý den volám, a neslyšíš, i v noci, a nemohu se utajiti. 4 Ty zajisté jsi svatý, zůstávající vždycky k veliké chvále Izraelovi. 5 V toběť doufali otcové naši, doufali, a vysvobozovals je. 6 K tobě volávali, a spomáhals jim; v tobě doufali, a nebývali zahanbeni. 7 Já pak červ jsem, a ne člověk, útržka lidská a povrhel vůbec. 8 Všickni, kteříž mne vidí, posmívají se mi, ošklebují se, a hlavami potřásají, říkajíce: 9 Spustiltě se na Hospodina, nechť ho vysvobodí; nechať jej vytrhne, poněvadž se mu v něm zalíbilo. 10 Ješto ty jsi, kterýž jsi mne vyvedl z života, ustaviv mne v doufání při prsích matky mé. 11 Na tebeť jsem uvržen od narození svého, od života matky mé Bůh můj ty jsi. 12 Nevzdalujž se ode mne, nebo ssoužení blízké jest, a nemám spomocníka. 13 Obkličujíť mne býkové mnozí, silní volové z Bázan obstupují mne. 14 Otvírají na mne ústa svá, jako lev rozsapávající a řvoucí. 15 Jako voda rozplynul jsem se, a rozstoupily se všecky kosti mé, a srdce mé jako vosk rozpustilo se u prostřed vnitřností mých. 16 Vyprahla jako střepina síla má, a jazyk můj přilnul k dásním mým, anobrž v prachu smrti položils mne. 17 Nebo psi obskočili mne, rota zlostníků oblehla mne, zprobijeli ruce mé i nohy mé. 18 Mohl bych sčísti všecky kosti své, oni pak hledí na mne, a dívají se mi. 19 Dělí mezi sebou roucha má, a o můj oděv mecí los. 20 Ale ty, Hospodine, nevzdalujž se, sílo má, přispěj k spomožení mému. 21 Vychvať od meče duši mou, a z moci psů jedinkou mou. 22 Zachovej mne od úst lva, a od rohů jednorožcových vyprosť mne. 23 I budu vypravovati bratřím svým o jménu tvém, u prostřed shromáždění chváliti tě budu, řka: 24 Kteříž se bojíte Hospodina, chvalte jej, všecko símě Jákobovo ctěte jej, a boj se ho všecka rodino Izraelova. 25 Nebo nepohrdá, ani se odvrací od trápení ztrápeného, aniž skrývá tváři své od něho, nýbrž když k němu volá, vyslýchá jej. 26 O tobě chvála má v shromáždění velikém, sliby své plniti budu před těmi, kteříž se bojí tebe. 27 Jísti budou tiší a nasyceni budou, chváliti budou Hospodina ti, kteříž ho hledají, živo bude srdce vaše na věky. 28 Rozpomenou a obrátí se k Hospodinu všecky končiny země, a skláněti se budou před ním všecky čeledi národů. 29 Nebo Hospodinovo jest království, a onť panuje nad národy. 30 Jísti budou a skláněti se před ním všickni tuční země, jemu se klaněti budou všickni sstupující do prachu, a kteříž duše své nemohou při životu zachovati. 31 Símě jejich sloužiti mu bude, a přičteno bude ku Pánu v každém věku. 32 Přijdouť, a lidu, kterýž z nich vyjde, vypravovati budou spravedlnost jeho; nebo ji skutkem vykonal.
