2 Tragam suas confissões e voltem para o Senhor.

Digam-lhe:

"Perdoa nossos pecados e recebe-nos com bondade,

Somente em ti

os órfãos encontram misericórdia".

4 "Então eu os curarei de sua infidelidade

e os amarei com todo o meu ser,

pois minha ira desaparecerá para sempre.

5 Serei para Israel

como o orvalho refrescante.

Israel florescerá como o lírio;

lançará raízes profundas no solo,

como os cedros do Líbano.

6 Seus ramos se estenderão como belas oliveiras,

perfumados como os cedros do Líbano.

7 Meu povo viverá novamente à minha sombra;

crescerá como o trigo e florescerá como a videira.

Seu aroma será agradável,

como o dos vinhos do Líbano.

Sou eu que respondo às suas orações e cuido de vocês.

Sou como a árvore sempre verde;

todos os seus frutos vêm de mim."

9 Quem for sábio, entenda estas coisas;

quem tiver discernimento, ouça com atenção.

Os caminhos do Senhor são retos,

e neles andam os justos.

Mas, nesses mesmos caminhos,

os pecadores tropeçam e caem.

8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree.
