1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

2 Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro ✝25.2 cp. 21.28.hacia los hijos de Ammón, y profetiza sobre ellos.

3 Y dirás á los hijos de Ammón: Oid palabra del Señor Jehová: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová. Por cuanto dijiste ¡Ea! acerca de mi santuario que ✝25.3 cp. 26.2.fué profanado, y sobre la tierra de Israel que fué asolada, y sobre la casa de Judá, porque fueron en cautiverio;

4 Por tanto, he aquí, yo te entrego á ✝25.4 cp. 21.20.los Orientales por heredad, y pondrán en ti sus apriscos, y colocarán en ti sus tiendas: ellos comerán tus sementeras, y beberán tu leche.

5 Y pondré á ✝25.5 cp. 21.20.Rabba por habitación de camellos, y á los hijos de Ammón por majada de ovejas; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

6 Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto tú batiste tus manos, y pateaste, y te gozaste del alma en todo tu menosprecio sobre la tierra de Israel;

7 Por tanto, he aquí yo extenderé mi mano sobre ti, y te entregaré á las gentes ✝25.7 cp. 7.21.para ser saqueada; y yo te cortaré de entre los pueblos, y te destruiré de entre las tierras: te raeré; y sabrás que yo soy Jehová.

8 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijo ✝25.8 Is. 15.1.Moab y ✝25.8 cp. 35.2.Seir: He aquí la casa de Judá es como todas las gentes;

9 Por tanto, he aquí yo abro el lado de Moab desde las ciudades, desde sus ciudades que están en su confín, las tierras deseables de ✝25.9 Jos. 12.3.Beth-jesi-moth, y ✝25.9 1 Cr. 5.8.Baal-meón, y ✝25.9 Jer. 48.1.Chîriathaim,

10 A los hijos del oriente contra los hijos de Ammón; y entregaréla por heredad para que no haya más memoria de los hijos de Ammón entre las gentes.

11 También en Moab haré juicios; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

12 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hizo ✝25.12 Sal. 137.7. Is. 34.5.Edom tomando venganza de la casa de Judá, pues delinquieron en extremo, y se vengaron de ellos;

13 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo también extenderé mi mano sobre Edom, y talaré de ella hombres y bestias, y la asolaré: ✝25.13 1 Cr. 1.45.desde Temán y ✝25.13 cp. 27.15,20 y 38.13.Dedán caerán á cuchillo.

14 Y ✝25.14 Jer. 49.7-22. Am. 9.12. Abd. 18,19,21.pondré mi venganza en Edom por la mano de mi pueblo Israel; y harán en Edom según mi enojo y según mi ira: y conocerán mi venganza, dice el Señor Jehová.

15 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hicieron los ✝25.15 Is. 14.29-32. Jer. 25.20 y 47.1. Jl. 3.4. Am. 1.6.Palestinos con venganza, cuando se vengaron con despecho de ánimo, destruyendo por antiguas enemistades;

16 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo extiendo mi mano sobre los Palestinos, y talaré los ✝25.16 1 S. 30.14.Ceretheos, y destruiré el resto de la ribera de la mar.

17 Y haré en ellos grandes venganzas con reprensiones de ira; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando diere mi venganza en ellos.

Ka hātepea atu koe e ahau i roto i ngā iwi, ka hunā anō koe e ahau i roto i ngā whenua. Ka whakangaromia koe e ahau; ā, ka mōhio koe ko Ihowā ahau.’ "

8 "Ko te kupu tēnei a te Ariki, a Ihowā: ‘Kua mea nei a Moapa rāua ko Heira: Nanā, kua rite te whare o Hūrā ki ngā iwi katoa, 9 mō reira tēnei ahau te mea nei kia takoto kau te taha o Moapa i ngā pā, i ōna pā i ōna rohe, te korōria o te whenua, i Peteiehimoto, i Paara-Meono, i Kiriataima, 10 tae noa ki ngā tama o te rāwhiti kia haere ki te whawhai ki ngā tama a Āmona, ā, ka tukua rātou e ahau hei kāinga tupu, e kore ai e maharatia ngā tama a Āmona i roto i ngā iwi. 11 Ka mahia anō e ahau he whakawā ki a Moapa; ā, ka mōhio rātou ko Ihowā ahau.’ "
