1 Y VINIERON á mí algunos de los ancianos de Israel, y ✝14.1 cp. 8.1 y 20.1 y 33.31.sentáronse delante de mí.

2 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

3 Hijo del hombre, estos hombres han puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido ✝14.3 vers. 4,7. cp. 7.19.el tropiezo de su maldad delante de su rostro: ✝14.3 2 R. 3.13. cp. 20.3,31¿acaso he de ser yo verdaderamente consultado por ellos?

4 Háblales por tanto, y diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel que hubiere puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido el tropiezo de su maldad delante de su rostro, y viniere al profeta, yo Jehová responderé al que viniere en la multitud de sus ídolos;

5 ✝ 14.5 2 Ts. 2.11,12. Para tomar á la casa de Israel en su corazón, que se han apartado de mí todos ellos en sus ídolos.

6 Por tanto di á la casa de Israel: Así dice el Señor Jehová: Convertíos, y volveos de vuestros ídolos, y apartad vuestro rostro de todas vuestras abominaciones.

7 Porque cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel, y de los extranjeros que moran en Israel, que se hubiere apartado de andar en pos de mí, y hubiere puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido delante de su rostro el tropiezo de su maldad, y viniere al profeta para preguntarle por mí, yo Jehová le responderé por mí mismo:

8 Y pondré mi rostro ✝14.8 Lv. 17.10.contra aquel hombre, y le pondré por ✝14.8 Nm. 26.10.señal y por fábula, y yo lo cortaré de entre mi pueblo; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

9 Y el profeta, cuando fuere engañado y hablare palabra, yo Jehová ✝14.9 1 R. 22.22. Jer. 20.7.engañé al tal profeta; y extenderé mi mano sobre él, y raeréle de en medio de mi pueblo de Israel.

10 Y llevarán su maldad: como la maldad del que pregunta, así será la maldad del profeta;

11 Para que no yerren más la casa de Israel de en pos de mí: ni más se contaminen en todas sus rebeliones, ✝14.11 Lv. 26.12.y me sean por pueblo, y yo les sea por Dios, dice el Señor Jehová.

12 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

13 Hijo del hombre, cuando la tierra pecare contra mí rebelándose pérfidamente, y extendiere yo mi mano sobre ella, y le quebrantare ✝14.13 ver. 21. Lv. 26.26.el arrimo del pan, y enviare en ella hambre, y talare de ella hombres y bestias;

14 Si estuvieren en medio de ella estos tres varones, ✝14.14 Gn. 6.9.Noé, ✝14.14 cp. 28.3.Daniel, y Job, ellos por su justicia librarán su vida, dice el Señor Jehová.

15 Y si hiciere pasar malas bestias por la tierra, y la asolaren, y fuere desolada que no haya quien pase á causa de las bestias,

16 Y estos tres varones estuvieren en medio de ella, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, ni á sus hijos ni á sus hijas librarán; ellos solos serán libres, y la tierra será asolada.

17 O si ✝14.17 Lv. 26.25.yo trajere espada sobre la tierra, y dijere: Espada, pasa por la tierra; é hiciere talar de ella hombres y bestias,

18 Y estos tres varones estuvieren en medio de ella, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, no librarán sus hijos ni sus hijas; ellos solos serán libres.

19 O si pestilencia enviare sobre esa tierra, y derramare mi ira sobre ella en sangre, para talar de ella hombres y bestias,

20 Y estuvieren en medio de ella Noé, Daniel, y Job, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, no librarán hijo ni hija; ellos por su justicia librarán su vida.

21 Por lo cual así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¿Cuánto más, si ✝14.21 cp. 5.17 y 33.27. Ap. 6.8.mis cuatro malos juicios, espada, y hambre, y mala bestia, y pestilencia, enviare contra Jerusalem, para talar de ella hombres y bestias?

22 Sin embargo, ✝14.22 cp. 6.8 y 12.16.he aquí quedarán en ella algunos residuos, hijos é hijas, que serán llevados fuera: he aquí que ellos entrarán á vosotros, y veréis su camino y sus hechos; y tomaréis consolación del mal que hice venir sobre Jerusalem, de todas las cosas que traje sobre ella.

23 Y consolaros han cuando viereis su camino y sus hechos, y conoceréis que no sin causa hice todo lo que habré hecho en ella, dice el Señor Jehová.

1 Kātahi ka haere mai ētahi o ngā kaumātua o Īharaira ki ahau, noho ana i tōku aroaro. 2 Nā, ka puta mai te kupu a Ihowā ki ahau, i mea ia: 3 "E te tama a te tangata, kua oti i ēnei tāngata ā rātou whakapakoko te whakaara ki ō rātou ngākau, kua waiho e rātou te tūtukitanga waewae, tō rātou hē, ki mua i ō rātou mata; kia rapua koia e rātou he tikanga i ahau? 4 Mō reira kōrero ki a rātou, mea atu ki a rātou: Ko te kupu tēnei a te Ariki, a Ihowā: Ko te tangata o te whare o Īharaira e whakaara ana i āna whakapakoko ki tōna ngākau, e whakatakoto ana i te tūtukitanga waewae, i tōna hē, ki mua i tōna mata, ā, e haere mai ana ki te poropiti; ko tāku, ko tā Ihowā, e whakahoki ai ki taua tangata i haere mai rā, ka rite ki te maha o āna whakapakoko. 5 Kia hopukia ai te whare o Īharaira i roto i ō rātou ngākau; kua tangata kē hoki rātou katoa ki ahau, nā ā rātou whakapakoko hoki.

6 "Mō reira mea atu ki te whare o Īharaira: Ko te kupu tēnei a te Ariki, a Ihowā: Rīpenetā, tahuri mai i ā koutou whakapakoko; tahuri mai anō ō koutou mata i ā koutou mea whakarihariha katoa.

7 "Ā, ko te tangata o te whare o Īharaira, ko te tautangata anō e noho ana i roto i a Īharaira, e whakatangata kē ana ki ahau, e whakaara ana i āna whakapakoko ki tōna ngākau, e whakatakoto ana i te tūtukitanga waewae, i tōna hē, ki mua i tōna mata, ā, e haere mai ana ki te poropiti ki te rapu i tāku tikanga i a ia; māku ake anō, mā Ihowā, e whakahoki kupu ki a ia. 8 Ka ū atu hoki tōku mata ki taua tangata, ka meinga ia e ahau he mīharotanga hei tohu, hei whakatauki, ka hātepea atu anō ia e ahau i roto i tāku iwi; ā, ka mōhio koutou ko Ihowā ahau.

9 "Nā, ki te hē te poropiti i tāna kōrerotanga i tētahi kupu, nāku, nā Ihowā, taua poropiti i hē ai, ka pā tōku ringa ki a ia, ā, ka ngaro ia i ahau i roto i tāku iwi, i a Īharaira. 10 Ka waha anō e rātou tō rātou hē – ko te hē o te poropiti ka rite ki te hē o te tangata e rapu tikanga ana i a ia – 11 he mea kia kore ai te whare o Īharaira e kotiti atu i te whai i ahau ā muri ake nei, kei poke anō rātou ā muri ake nei i ō rātou pokanga kētanga katoa. Engari, kia waiho ai rātou hei iwi māku, ko ahau hoki hei Atua mō rātou, e ai tā te Ariki, tā Ihowā."

12 I puta mai anō te kupu a Ihowā ki ahau, i mea: 13 "E te tama a te tangata, ki te hara te whenua ki ahau, ki te nui rawa te hē, ā, ka totoro tōku ringa ki reira, ā, ka whati i ahau tōna tokotoko, te taro; ka ungā anō e ahau te hemokai ki reira, ka hātepea anō e ahau te tangata me te kararehe o reira. 14 Ahakoa ko ēnei tāngata tokotoru, ko Noa, ko Raniera, ko Hopa, i reira, ko ō rātou wairua ake e ora i a rātou i tō rātou tika, e ai tā te Ariki, tā Ihowā.

15 "Ki te meinga e ahau he kīrehe kino kia tika nā waenganui i te whenua, ā, ka kore i a rātou, ka whakamōtītia, ā, kāhore he tangata e haere ana i reira i te wehi o ngā kīrehe; 16 ahakoa ko ēnei tāngata tokotoru i reira, e ora ana ahau, e ai tā te Ariki, tā Ihowā, e kore e ora ngā tama, ngā tamāhine, i a rātou. Ko rātou anake e ora, ka whakamōtītia ia te whenua.

17 "Ki te kawea atu rānei e ahau te hoari ki runga ki taua whenua, ā, ka mea, ‘E tika, e te hoari, nā waenganui i te whenua,’ ā, ka hātepea atu e ahau te tangata me te kararehe o reira; 18 ahakoa ko ēnei tāngata tokotoru i reira, e ora ana ahau, e ai tā te Ariki, tā Ihowā, e kore e ora ngā tama, ngā tamāhine i a rātou. Ko rātou anake e ora.

19 "Ki te tukua rānei e ahau te mate urutā ki taua whenua, ā, ka ringihia e ahau tōku weriweri ki runga ki taua wāhi, he mea toto, kia hātepea atu ai te tangata me te kararehe o reira; 20 ahakoa ko Noa, ko Raniera, ko Hopa, i reira, e ora ana ahau, e ai tā te Ariki, tā Ihowā, e kore te tama, te tamāhine rānei e ora i a rātou; ko rātou anake e ora i tō rātou tika.

21 "Nō te mea ko te kupu tēnei a te Ariki, a Ihowā: Tērā noa ake ina tukua e ahau āku whakawā kino e whā, te hoari, te hemokai, te kīrehe kino, te mate urutā ki Hiruhārama, hei hātepe atu i te tangata, i te kararehe o reira. 22 Otiia, nanā, ka toe ētahi mōrehu ki reira, ā, ka whakaputaina he tama, he tamāhine. Nanā, ka puta rātou ki a koutou, ā, ka kite koutou i tō rātou ara, i ā rātou mahi; ka whai whakamārietanga anō koutou mō te kino i kawea e ahau ki Hiruhārama, arā mō ngā mea katoa i kawea e ahau ki taua wāhi. 23 Ka whai whakamārietanga anō koutou i a rātou, ina kite koutou i tō rātou ara, i ā rātou mahi; ā, ka mōhio koutou, nā, ko tāku mahinga i ngā mea katoa i mahia e ahau ki reira, ehara i te mea kore take, e ai tā te Ariki, tā Ihowā."
