1 God, the nations have come into your inheritance.
They have defiled your holy temple.
They have laid Jerusalem in heaps.
2 They have given the dead bodies of your servants to be food for the birds of the sky,
the flesh of your saints to the animals of the earth.
3 They have shed their blood like water around Jerusalem.
There was no one to bury them.
4 We have become a reproach to our neighbors,
a scoffing and derision to those who are around us.
5 How long, Yahweh?
Will you be angry forever?
Will your jealousy burn like fire?
6 Pour out your wrath on the nations that don’t know you,
on the kingdoms that don’t call on your name,
7 for they have devoured Jacob,
and destroyed his homeland.
8 Don’t hold the iniquities of our forefathers against us.
Let your tender mercies speedily meet us,
for we are in desperate need.
9 Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name.
Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.
10 Why should the nations say, "Where is their God?"
Let it be known among the nations, before our eyes,
that vengeance for your servants’ blood is being poured out.
11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before you.
According to the greatness of your power, preserve those who are sentenced to death.
12 Pay back to our neighbors seven times into their bosom
their reproach with which they have reproached you, Lord.
13 So we, your people and sheep of your pasture,
will give you thanks forever.
We will praise you forever, to all generations.

5 耶和华啊！ 要到几时呢？你要永远怀怒吗？你的愤恨要像火焚烧吗？
6 愿你把你的烈怒， 倾倒在不认识你的外族人， 和不求告你名的列国身上。
7 因为他们吞吃了雅各， 使他的住处荒凉。
8 求你不要记住我们祖先的罪孽； 愿你的怜悯快快临到我们， 因为我们落到极卑微的地步。
9 拯救我们的 神啊！ 求你因你名的荣耀帮助我们； 为你名的缘故， 搭救我们， 赦免我们的罪。
10 为什么容外族人说： "他们的 神在哪里呢？"愿我们亲眼看见你在列邦中， 使人知道你要为你仆人所流的血伸冤。
11 愿被囚的人的唉哼， 达到你面前； 愿你用你的大能， 使那些已定死罪的人可以存留。
12 主啊！ 愿你把我们邻国羞辱你的羞辱， 七倍归还在他们身上。
13 这样， 我们作你的子民， 作你牧场上的羊的， 要永远称谢你； 我们要世世代代述说你可称颂的事。
