1 O Senhor reina, tremam os povos; ele está entronizado sobre os querubins, estremeça a terra.2 O Senhor é grande em Sião, e exaltado acima de todos os povos.3 Louvem o teu nome, grande e tremendo; pois é santo.4 És Rei poderoso que amas a justiça; estabeleces a eqüidade, executas juízo e justiça em Jacó.5 Exaltai o Senhor nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos diante do escabelo de seus pés; porque ele é santo.6 Moisés e Arão entre os seus sacerdotes, e Samuel entre os que invocavam o seu nome, clamavam ao Senhor, e ele os ouvia.7 Na coluna de nuvem lhes falava; eles guardavam os seus testemunhos, e os estatutos que lhes dera.8 Tu os ouviste, Senhor nosso Deus; tu foste para eles um Deus perdoador, embora vingador dos seus atos.9 Exaltai o Senhor nosso Deus e adorai-o no seu santo monte, porque o Senhor nosso Deus é santo.

1 The LORD reigns, let the nations tremble; he sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake.2 Great is the LORD in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations.3 Let them praise your great and awesome name — he is holy.4 The King is mighty, he loves justice — you have established equity; in Jacob you have done what is just and right.5 Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his footstool; he is holy.6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel was among those who called on his name; they called on the LORD and he answered them.7 He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud; they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.8 LORD our God, you answered them; you were to Israel a forgiving God, though you punished their misdeeds.
