1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.

5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.

6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Je te célèbre de tout mon coeur, Je chante tes louanges en la présence de Dieu.2 Je me prosterne dans ton saint temple, Et je célèbre ton nom, à cause de ta bonté et de ta fidélité, Car ta renommée s'est accrue par l'accomplissemen de tes promesses.3 Le jour où je t'ai invoqué, tu m'as exaucé, Tu m'as rassuré, tu as fortifié mon âme.4 Tous les rois de la terre te loueront, ô Eternel! En entendant les paroles de ta bouche;5 Ils célébreront les voies de l'Eternel, Car la gloire de l'Eternel est grande.6 L'Eternel est élevé: il voit les humbles, Et il reconnaît de loin les orgueilleux.7 Quand je marche au milieu de la détresse, tu me rends la vie, Tu étends ta main sur la colère de mes ennemis, Et ta droite me sauve.8 L'Eternel agira en ma faveur. Eternel, ta bonté dure toujours, N'abandonne pas les oeuvres de tes mains!

Io ti celebrerò con tutto il mio cuore, dinanzi agli dèi salmeggerò a te.2 Adorerò vòlto al tempio della tua santità, celebrerò il tuo nome per la tua benignità e per la tua fedeltà; oiché tu hai magnificato la tua parola oltre ogni tua rinomanza.3 Nel giorno che ho gridato a te, tu m’hai risposto, m’hai riempito di coraggio, dando forza all’anima mia.4 Tutti i re della terra ti celebreranno, o Eterno, quando avranno udito le parole della tua bocca;5 e canteranno le vie dell’Eterno, perché grande è la gloria dell’Eterno.6 Sì, eccelso è l’Eterno, eppure ha riguardo agli umili, e da lungi conosce l’altero.7 Se io cammino in mezzo alla distretta, tu mi ridai la vita; tu stendi la mano contro l’ira dei miei nemici, e la tua destra mi salva.8 L’Eterno compirà in mio favore l’opera sua; la tua benignità, o Eterno, dura in perpetuo; non abbandonare le opere delle tue mani.
