1 Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

7 The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

1 Psaume de David. Fils de Dieu, rendez à l'Eternel, Rendez à l'Eternel gloire et honneur!2 Rendez à l'Eternel gloire pour son nom! Prosternez-vous devant l'Eternel avec des ornements sacrés!3 La voix de l'Eternel retentit sur les eaux, Le Dieu de gloire fait gronder le tonnerre; L'Eternel est sur les grandes eaux.4 La voix de l'Eternel est puissante, La voix de l'Eternel est majestueuse.5 La voix de l'Eternel brise les cèdres; L'Eternel brise les cèdres du Liban,6 Il les fait bondir comme des veaux, Et le Liban et le Sirion comme de jeunes buffles.7 La voix de l'Eternel fait jaillir des flammes de feu.8 La voix de l'Eternel fait trembler le désert; L'Eternel fait trembler le désert de Kadès.9 La voix de l'Eternel fait enfanter les biches, Elle dépouille les forêts. Dans son palais tout s'écrie: Gloire!10 L'Eternel était sur son trône lors du déluge; L'Eternel sur son trône règne éternellement.11 L'Eternel donne la force à son peuple; L'Eternel bénit son peuple et le rend heureux.

E nel suo tempio tutto esclama: Gloria!10 L’Eterno sedeva sovrano sul diluvio, anzi l’Eterno siede re in perpetuo.11 L’Eterno darà forza al suo popolo; l’Eterno benedirà il suo popolo dandogli pace.
