2 (H61:3)Maan ääristä minä huudan sinua, kun sydämeni nääntyy. Sinä viet minut turvaan, kalliolle, jolle itse en jaksaisi nousta.

3 (H61:4)Sinä olet ollut turvani, vahva linnoitus vihollista vastaan.

4 (H61:5)Minä tahdon aina asua sinun luonasi, minä etsin sinun siipiesi suojaa. (sela)

5 (H61:6)Sinä, Jumala, olet kuullut lupaukseni, olet antanut minullekin perintöosan, jonka sinun palvelijasi saavat.

6 (H61:7)Anna kuninkaalle elinvuosia, hän hallitkoon sukupolvesta toiseen.

7 (H61:8)Pysyköön hänen valtaistuimensa sinun edessäsi iäti! Sinun armosi ja uskollisuutesi varjelkoon häntä.

8 (H61:9)Silloin minä laulan sinun nimesi kunniaa ikuisesti ja täytän lupaukseni päivästä päivään.

Attend unto my prayer.

Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

His years shall be as many generations.

7 He shall abide before God for ever:

Oh prepare lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him.

8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever,

That I may daily perform my vows.
