1 Then looked I. and lo! in the expanses which was over the head of the cherubim as a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne, appeared over them.2 Then said he unto the man clothed in linenthen said he Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub, and fl both thy hands with live coals of fire from between the cherubim, and throw over the city. So he went in before mine eyes.3 Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the house when the man went in,and, the, cloud filled the inner court,4 Then arose the glory of Yahweh from off the cherub, unto the threshold of the house,and the house was fled with the cloud, and the, court, was fled with the brightness of the glory of Yahweh.5 And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard, as far as the outer court,like the voice of the Almighty GOD when he speaketh,6 So then it came to pass when he commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim, then went he in and stood beside the wheel.7 And the cherub put forth his hand from between the cherubim unto the fire that was between the cherubim, and took up thereof and gave into the hands of him who was clothed with linen,who took8 Now the cherubim appeared to have. the likeness of the hand of a man, under their wings.9 Then looked I. and lo! four wheels by the cherubimone wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub,and the appearance of the wheels was to look upon like a Tarshish stone;10 and as for their appearance, one likeness had they our,-as might be a wheel in the midst of a wheel.11 When they went, upon their four sides, they went, they turned not when they went, for to the place whithersoever the heads turned, after it, they went, they turned not when they went.12 And all their flesh, and their back, and their hands and their wings, and the wheels were full of eyes round about, even their wheels which they four had13 To the wheelsto them, was made the cry O whirling wheel! in mine ears.14 And four faces had each one,the first face, was the face of a cherub, and, the second face, was the face of a man and the third was the face of a lion. and the fourth, was the face of an eagle.15 Then arose the cherubim,the same, was the living one, which I had seen by the river Chebar.16 When the cherubim went, then went the wheels beside them,and when the cherubim lifted up their wings, to arise from off the earth, the wheels themselves turned not from beside them;17 when they stood, these stood, and when they arose, these arose with them,for the spirit of the living ones was in them.18 And when the glory of Yahweh went forth from off the threshold of the house,and stood over the cherubim,19 then the cherubim uplifted their wings and arose from the earth before mine eyes as they went forth, the wheels also in unison with them,and it stood at the opening of the gate of the house of Yahweh that was toward the east, with the glory of the God of Israel over them, above.20 The same, was the living one which I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar,- then knew I that cherubim, they were.21 Four faces severally, had each one, and four wings, had each one,and the likeness of the hands of a man, was under their wings.22 And as for the likeness of their faces, They were the faces which I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves every one straight before him, did they go.

1 Depois, olhei, e eis que no firmamento, que estava por cima da cabeça dos querubins, apareceu sobre eles como uma pedra de safira, como o aspecto da semelhança de um trono. 2 E falou ao homem vestido de linho, dizendo: Vai por entre as rodas, até debaixo do querubim, e enche as mãos de brasas acesas dentre os querubins, e espalha-as sobre a cidade. E ele entrou à minha vista. 3 E os querubins estavam ao lado direito da casa, quando entrou aquele homem; e uma nuvem encheu o átrio interior. 4 Então, se levantou a glória do Senhor de sobre o querubim para a entrada da casa; e encheu-se a casa de uma nuvem, e o átrio se encheu do resplendor da glória do Senhor. 5 E o estrondo das asas dos querubins se ouviu até ao átrio exterior, como a voz do Deus Todo-Poderoso, quando fala.

6 E sucedeu, pois, dando ele ordem ao homem vestido de linho, dizendo: Toma fogo dentre as rodas, dentre os querubins, que entrou ele e se pôs junto às rodas. 7 Então, estendeu um querubim a mão de entre os querubins para o fogo que estava entre os querubins; e tirou e o pôs nas mãos do que estava vestido de linho, o qual o tomou e saiu. 8 E apareceu nos querubins uma semelhança de mão de homem debaixo das suas asas.

9 Então, olhei, e eis quatro rodas junto aos querubins, uma roda junto a cada querubim; e o aspecto das rodas era como cor de pedra de turquesa. 10 E, quanto ao seu aspecto, as quatro tinham uma mesma semelhança; eram como se estivesse uma roda no meio de outra roda. 11 Andando eles, andavam elas pelos seus quatro lados; não se viravam quando andavam, mas para o lugar para onde olhava a cabeça, para esse andavam; não se viravam quando andavam. 12 E todo o seu corpo, e as suas costas, e as suas mãos, e as suas asas, e as rodas, as rodas que os quatro tinham, estavam cheias de olhos em redor. 13 E, quanto às rodas, elas foram chamadas, ouvindo eu, Galgal. 14 E cada um tinha quatro rostos: o rosto do primeiro era rosto de querubim, e o rosto do segundo era rosto de homem, e do terceiro era rosto de leão, e do quarto, rosto de águia.

15 E os querubins se elevaram ao alto; estes são os mesmos animais que vi junto ao rio Quebar. 16 E, andando os querubins, andavam as rodas juntamente com eles; e, levantando os querubins as suas asas, para se elevarem de sobre a terra, também as rodas não se separavam deles. 17 Parando eles, paravam elas, e, elevando-se eles, elevavam-se elas, porque o espírito de vida estava nelas.

18 Então, saiu a glória do Senhor da entrada da casa e parou sobre os querubins. 19 E os querubins alçaram as suas asas e se elevaram da terra aos meus olhos, quando saíram; e as rodas os acompanhavam e pararam à entrada da porta oriental da Casa do Senhor; e a glória do Deus de Israel estava no alto, sobre eles.

20 Estes são os animais que vi debaixo do Deus de Israel, junto ao rio Quebar, e conheci que eram querubins. 21 Cada um tinha quatro rostos e quatro asas e a semelhança de mãos de homem debaixo das suas asas. 22 E a semelhança dos seus rostos era a dos rostos que eu tinha visto junto ao rio Quebar; tinham o mesmo aspecto, eram os próprios; cada um andava ao direito do seu rosto.
