1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:2 So of man Set thy face against Gog, of the land of the Magog, Princes of Rash Meshech and Tubal,- And prophesy concerning him,3 and thou shalt say, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Behold me! against thee O Gog, Prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal;4 Therefore I will turn thee about, and will put hooks in thy jaws,and bring thee forth and all thine army. Horses and horsemen Clothed with gorgeous attire, all of them, A mighty gathered host With shield and buckler handling swords tall of them:5 Persia Ethiopia and Libya with them, All of them, with shield and helmet;6 Gomer and all her hordes, The house of Togarmah the remote men of the North and all his hordes, Many peoples with thee.7 Be ready, and show thyself ready, Thou and all thy gathered host who have gathered themselves unto thee, And become thou for me a guard.8 After many days, shalt thou muster thy forces, In the after part of the years, shalt thou enter Into the land of the remnant brought back froth the sword. Gathered from among many peoples, Upon the mountains of Israel which have been waste continually, But the same! from among the peoples, hath been brought forth, And they shall dwell in security, all of them.9 Then shalt thou come up, Like a storm, shalt thou enter, Like a cloud covering the land, shalt thou be, Thou and all thy hordes, and many peoples with thee.10 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, So shall it be in that day, that thoughts will come p on thy heart.- And thou wt devise a wicked device;11 and wilt say I will go up over a land of hamlets, I will enter among them who are at rest dwelling securely, All of them, dwelling without a wall, Who bars and doors, have none;12 To capture spoil. And take prey,- To bring back thy hand over desolate places at length inhabited And against a people gathered from among the nations, Getting herds and substance Dwelling upon the navel of the earth.13 Sheba and Dedan and the traders of Tarshish and all her young lions, will say to thee, To capture spoil, art thou coming? And to take prey, hast thou called together thy gathered host? To carry off silver and gold To take away herds and substance, To capture great spoil?14 Therefore prophesy, Son of man, and thou shalt say to Gog. Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh: Shall it not be in that day, because my people Israel are dwelling securely:, that thou wt rouse thyself?15 Therefore wilt thou come out of thy place. Out of the remote parts of the North, Thou and many peoples with thee,Riding on horses all of them, A mighty gathered host. Yea a great army;16 Therefore wilt thou come up, against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land, In the afterpart of the days, shall it be. that I will suffer thee to enter upon my land, To the end the nations may know me, when I hallow myself in thee before their eyes O Gog!17 Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, Art thou, he of whom I spake in days aforetime by the hand of my servants the prophets of Israel, who kept on prophesying in those days for years,That thou shouldest be suffered to come against them?18 So then shall it come to pass in that day, In the day when Gog entereth upon the soil of Israel, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, That mine indignation shall come up into my nostrils;19 Yea, in my jealousy, in the fire of mine outburst, have I spoken,- Surely in that day, shall there be a great trembling upon the so of Israel:20 Then shall tremble before me The fishes of the sea, and The bird of the heavens and The wild beast of the field, and Every creeping thing that creepeth on the ground, and All the men we are on the face of the ground, and The mountains is hall be torn asunder and The steep places I shall sink down I, and Every wall to the earth, shall be thrown.21 Then will I call against him, every terror, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, the sword of every man against his brother, shall be;22 Then will I contend with him by pestilence and by blood,- And an overflowing downpour and ha- stones fire and brimstone, will I rain Upon him, and Upon his hordes, and Upon the many peoples who are with him.23 So will I Magnify myself and Hallow myself, and Make myself known. Before the eye of many nations,And they shall know that I, am Yahweh.

1 Veio mais a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo: 2 Filho do homem, dirige o rosto contra Gogue, terra de Magogue, príncipe e chefe de Meseque e de Tubal, e profetiza contra ele. 3 E dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que eu sou contra ti, ó Gogue, príncipe e chefe de Meseque e de Tubal. 4 E te farei voltar, e porei anzóis nos teus queixos, e te levarei a ti, com todo o teu exército, cavalos e cavaleiros, todos vestidos bizarramente, congregação grande, com escudo e rodela, manejando todos a espada; 5 persas, etíopes e os de Pute com eles, todos com escudo e capacete; 6 Gomer e todas as suas tropas; a casa de Togarma, da banda do Norte, e todas as suas tropas, muitos povos contigo.

7 Prepara-te, sim, dispõe-te, tu e todas as tuas congregações que se reuniram a ti, e serve-lhes tu de guarda. 8 Depois de muitos dias, serás visitado; no fim dos anos, virás à terra que se retirou da espada e que veio dentre muitos povos aos montes de Israel, que sempre serviram de assolação; mas aquela terra foi tirada dentre os povos, e todos eles habitarão seguramente. 9 Então, subirás, virás como uma tempestade, far-te-ás como uma nuvem para cobrir a terra, tu e todas as tuas tropas, e muitos povos contigo.

10 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: E acontecerá, naquele dia, que terás imaginações no teu coração e conceberás um mau desígnio. 11 E dirás: Subirei contra a terra das aldeias não muradas, virei contra os que estão em repouso, que habitam seguros; todos eles habitam sem muro e não têm ferrolho nem portas; 12 isso a fim de tomar o despojo, e de arrebatar a presa, e tornar a tua mão contra as terras desertas que agora se habitam e contra o povo que se ajuntou dentre as nações, o qual tem gado e possessões e habita no meio da terra. 13 Sabá, e Dedã, e os mercadores de Társis, e todos os seus leõezinhos te dirão: Vens tu para tomar o despojo? Ajuntaste o teu bando para arrebatar a presa, para levar a prata e o ouro, para tomar o gado e as possessões, para saquear grande despojo?

14 Portanto, profetiza, ó filho do homem, e dize a Gogue: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Não o saberás, naquele dia, quando o meu povo de Israel habitar com segurança? 15 Virás, pois, do teu lugar, das bandas do Norte, tu e muitos povos contigo, montados todos a cavalo, grande ajuntamento e exército numeroso; 16 e subirás contra o meu povo de Israel, como uma nuvem, para cobrir a terra; no fim dos dias, sucederá que hei de trazer-te contra a minha terra, para que as nações me conheçam a mim, quando eu me houver santificado em ti os seus olhos, ó Gogue.

17 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Não és tu aquele de quem eu disse nos dias antigos, pelo ministério de meus servos, os profetas de Israel, os quais, naqueles dias, profetizaram largos anos, que te traria contra eles? 18 Sucederá, porém, naquele dia, no dia em que vier Gogue contra a terra de Israel, diz o Senhor Jeová, que a minha indignação subirá a meus narizes. 19 Porque disse no meu zelo, no fogo do meu furor, que, naquele dia, haverá grande tremor sobre a terra de Israel, 20 de tal sorte que tremerão diante da minha face os peixes do mar, e as aves do céu, e os animais do campo, e todos os répteis que se arrastam sobre a terra, e todos os homens que estão sobre a face da terra; e os montes cairão, e os precipícios se desfarão, e todos os muros desabarão por terra. 21 Porque chamarei contra Gogue a espada, sobre todos os meus montes, diz o Senhor Jeová; a espada de cada um se voltará contra seu irmão. 22 E contenderei com ele por meio da peste e do sangue; e uma chuva inundante, e grandes pedras de saraiva, fogo e enxofre farei cair sobre ele, e sobre as suas tropas, e sobre os muitos povos que estiverem com ele. 23 Assim, eu me engrandecerei, e me santificarei, e me farei conhecer aos olhos de muitas nações; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
