1 Then he brought me back unto the entrance of the house, and lo! waters coming forth from under the threshold of the house eastward, because the front of the house, was to the east,and the waters, were coming down from beneath, from the right side of the house, on the south of the altar.2 Then he brought me out by way of the north gate, and took me round by an outer way, unto an outer gate that which looketh eastwardand lo! waters trickling forth out of the right side.3 When the man went forth with a measuring line in his hand, then measured he a thousand, by the cubit, and caused me to pass through the waterswaters reaching to the ankles.4 Then measured he a thousand, and caused me to pass through the waterswaters reaching to the knees,and again measured he a thousand, and caused me to pass through-waters reaching to the loins.5 Then measured he a thousanda river which I could not pass throughfor the waters had risen-waters to swim in, la river, that could not be forded.6 Then said he unto me Hast thou seen son of man? Then he took me along and caused me to return to the bank of the river.7 When returned, then lo! by the hank of the river, trees very many,on this side and on that side. S8 And he said unto me these waters are going forth unto the region toward the east and shall go down unto the waste plain, a and shall eater the sea, unto the sea being led forth, then shall the waters be healed;9 And it shall come to pass that every living soul that swarmeth whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live, and the fish shall become a very great multitude; for these waters have come thither, that they may be healed so shall everything live whithersoever the river cometh.10 And it shall come to pass that there shall stand by it fishers, from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim, places for spreading out nets, shall they be,after their kind, shall be their fish, like the fish of the great sea exceeding many.11 the swamps thereof and the pools thereof, shall not be healed to salt, have they been given up.12 And by the river, shall grow up on the bank thereof on this side and on that side every tree for food the leaf whereof shall not fade neither shall fade the fruit thereof by its months, shall it break forth, for as for the waters thereof out of the sanctuary, are they coming forth,and the fruit thereof shall be for food, and the leaf thereof for healing.13 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, This shall be the boundary whereby ye shall take your inheritances in the land, according to the twelve tribes of Israel,Joseph shall have portions.14 so shall ye inherit it each man like his brother, as to which I lifted my hand to give it to your fathers,so shall this land fall to you as an inheritance.15 This then shall be the boundary of the land,on the north side, from the great sea by the way of Hethlon to the entering, in of Zedad;16 Hamath Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the boundary of Damascus and the boundary of Hamath,Hazer-hatticon, which is by the boundary of Hauran.17 Thus shall there be a boundary, from the sea Hazar-enin the boundary of Damascus, even the north northward and the boundary of Hamath,even the north, side.18 And for the east side, from between Hauran and Damascus and from between Gilead and the land of Israel the Jordan, from the boundary by the sea eastward, shall ye measureeven the east side.19 And for the south side southward, from Tamar as far as the waters of Meriboth-kadesh, towards the torrent bed unto the great sea,even the south side southward.20 And for the west side, the great sea, from the boundary as far as over against the entering in of Hamath this is the west side.21 So then ye shall apportion this land to you by the tribes of Israel.22 And it shall come to pass that ye shall divide it by lot as an inheritance, to yourselves and to the sojourners who are sojourning in your midst, who have begotten children in your midst,so shall they be to you as a native among the sons of Israel with you, shall they cast lots for an inheritance, in the midst of the tribes of Israel.23 And it shall be that with whatsoever tribe the sojourner hath become a sojourner, there shall ye give his inheritance, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.

1 Depois disso, me fez voltar à entrada da casa, e eis que saíam umas águas de debaixo do umbral da casa, para o oriente; porque a face da casa olhava para o oriente, e as águas vinham de baixo, desde a banda direita da casa, da banda do sul do altar. 2 E ele me tirou pelo caminho da porta do norte e me fez dar uma volta pelo caminho de fora, até a porta exterior, pelo caminho que olha para o oriente; e eis que corriam umas águas desde a banda direita.

3 Saiu aquele homem para o oriente, tendo na mão um cordel de medir; e mediu mil côvados e me fez passar pelas águas, águas que me davam pelos tornozelos. 4 E mediu mais mil e me fez passar pelas águas, águas que me davam pelos joelhos; e mediu mais mil e me fez passar pelas águas, águas que me davam pelos lombos. 5 E mediu mais mil e era um ribeiro, que eu não podia atravessar, porque as águas eram profundas, águas que se deviam passar a nado, ribeiro pelo qual não se podia passar. 6 E me disse: Viste, filho do homem? Então, me levou e me tornou a trazer à margem do ribeiro. 7 E, tornando eu, eis que à margem do ribeiro havia uma grande abundância de árvores, de uma e de outra banda. 8 Então, me disse: Estas águas saem para a região oriental, e descem à campina, e entram no mar; e, sendo levadas ao mar, sararão as águas. 9 E será que toda criatura vivente que vier por onde quer que entrarem esses dois ribeiros viverá, e haverá muitíssimo peixe; porque lá chegarão essas águas e sararão, e viverá tudo por onde quer que entrar esse ribeiro. 10 Será também que os pescadores estarão junto dele; desde En-Gedi até En-Eglaim, haverá lugar para estender as redes; o seu peixe, segundo a sua espécie, será como o peixe do mar Grande, em multidão excessiva. 11 Mas os seus charcos e os seus lamaceiros não sararão; serão deixados para sal. 12 E junto do ribeiro, à sua margem, de uma e de outra banda, subirá toda sorte de árvore que dá fruto para se comer; não cairá a sua folha, nem perecerá o seu fruto; nos seus meses produzirá novos frutos, porque as suas águas saem do santuário; e o seu fruto servirá de alimento, e a sua folha, de remédio.

13 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Este será o termo conforme o qual tomareis a terra em herança, segundo as doze tribos de Israel. José terá duas partes. 14 E vós a herdareis, tanto um como o outro; pois sobre ela levantei a mão, para a dar a vossos pais; assim, que essa mesma terra vos cairá a vós em herança.

15 E este será o termo da terra, da banda do norte: desde o mar Grande, caminho de Hetlom, até à entrada de Zedade, 16 Hamate, Berota, Sibraim (que estão entre o termo de Damasco e entre o termo de Hamate) e a cidade de Hazer-Haticom (que está junto ao termo de Haurã). 17 E o termo desde o mar será Hazer-Enom, no termo de Damasco, e na direção do norte está o termo de Hamate; este será o termo do norte. 18 E o termo do oriente, entre Haurã, e Damasco, e Gileade, e a terra de Israel, será o Jordão; desde o termo do norte até ao mar do oriente medireis; este será o termo do oriente. 19 E o termo do sul será desde Tamar até às águas da contenda de Cades, junto ao ribeiro até ao mar Grande; este será o termo para o lado do sul. 20 E o termo do ocidente será o mar Grande, desde o termo do sul até à entrada de Hamate; este será o termo do ocidente.

21 Repartireis, pois, esta terra entre vós, segundo as tribos de Israel. 22 Será, porém, que a sorteareis para vossa herança e para a dos estrangeiros que peregrinam no meio de vós, que geraram filhos no meio de vós; e vos serão como naturais entre os filhos de Israel; convosco entrarão em herança, no meio das tribos de Israel. 23 E será que, na tribo em que peregrinar o estrangeiro, ali lhe dareis a sua herança, diz o Senhor Jeová.
