1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying2 Son of man Say to the Prince of Tyre. Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh Because lofty, is thy heart and thou hast said A GOD, am I, In the seat of God, have I taken my seat In the heart of the seas; Whereas thou art a man, and not a GOD, But hast set thy heart as the heart of God:3 Lo! wiser, thou than Daniel, No secret, have they hidden from thee:4 In thy wisdom and in thine understanding, hast thou gotten thee wealth, And hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasuries:5 By the greatness of thy wisdom and by thy traffic, hast thou multiplied thy riches, -And thy heart hath become lofty in thy riches:6 Therefore, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God,7 Therefore behold me! bringing upon thee aliens, The terrible ones of the nations,- And they shall unsheathe their swords over the beauty of thy wisdom, And profane thy splendour:8 To the pit, shall they take thee down,- And thou shalt die the deaths of one thrust through, In the heart of the sec.9 Wilt thou really say, God, am I, before him who is slaying thee; When, thou, art a man and not a God, in the hand of them who are piercing h thee?10 The deaths of the uncircumcised, shalt thou die. by the hand of Miens,- For I have spoken, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.11 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:12 Son of man Take thou up a dirge over the king of Tyre, And thou shalt say to him Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Thou wast of finished proportions, Full of wisdom and Perfect in beauty:13 In Eden the garden of God, thou wast. Of every precious stone, was thy covering-Sardius. topaz, and diamond, Chrysolite beryl, and jasper, Sapphire carbuncle and emerald,- And of gold, was the work of thy timbrels and thy flutes within thee, In the day thou wast created, were they prepared:14 Thou, wast the anointed cherub that covered, When I appointed thee, in the holy mount of God, thou wast, Amid stones of fire, thou didst walk to and fro:15 Complete, wast thou in thy ways, from the day thou wast created,- Until perversity was found in thee.16 By the abundance of fly traffic, they fled thy midst with violence And thou didst sin,- So I cast thee as profane a out of the mountain of God. And destroyed thee O covering cherub, from amid the stones of fire:17 Lofty, was thy heart in thy beauty, Thou didst corrupt thy wisdom, because of thy splendour, Upon the earth, did I cast thee. Before kings, did I set thee That they might look at thee:18 Owing to the abounding of thine iniquities. In the perversity of thy traffic, Thou didst profane thy sanctuaries, Therefore brought I forth fire out of thy midst. the same devoured thee, And I turned thee to ashes on the ground, Before the eyes of all beholding thee:19 All that had known thee among the peoples were astounded over thee, A terror, hast thou become, And tart not I Unto times age-abiding.20 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:21 Son of man, Set thy face towards Zidon, And prophesy over it;22 and thou shalt say Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Behold me! against thee, O Zidon, Therefore will I get myself glory in thy midst, When I have executed against her judgments And hallowed myself in her.23 So then I will send against her, pestilence and blood in her streets, And the wounded shall fall in her midst by the sword upon her from every side, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.24 And the house of Israel shall no more have a stinging prickle or a wounding thorn, of any round about them who used to despise them,- So shall they know that I an The Lord Yahweh.25 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, When I gather together the house of Israel, from the midst of the peoples among whom they have been scattered, and shall hallow myself in them before the eyes of the nations Then shall they dwell upon their own so, which I gave to my servantto Jacob:26 Yea they shall dwell thereupon securely, Yea shall bud houses, and plant vineyards, and dwell securely, When I have executed judgments on all that despised them on every side of them, So shall they know that, I, Yahweh am their God

1 E veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo: 2 Filho do homem, dize ao príncipe de Tiro: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Visto como se eleva o teu coração, e dizes: Eu sou Deus e sobre a cadeira de Deus me assento no meio dos mares (sendo tu homem e não Deus); e estimas o teu coração como se fora o coração de Deus, 3 eis que mais sábio és que Daniel, não há segredo algum que se possa esconder de ti; 4 pela tua sabedoria e pelo teu entendimento alcançaste o teu poder e adquiriste ouro e prata nos teus tesouros; 5 pela extensão da tua sabedoria no teu comércio, aumentaste o teu poder; e eleva-se o teu coração por causa do teu poder, 6 portanto, assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Pois que estimas o teu coração como se fora o coração de Deus, 7 eis que eu trarei sobre ti estranhos, os mais formidáveis dentre as nações, os quais desembainharão as suas espadas contra a formosura da tua sabedoria e mancharão o teu resplendor. 8 À cova te farão descer, e morrerás da morte dos traspassados no meio dos mares. 9 Dirás ainda diante daquele que te matar: Eu sou Deus? Mas tu és homem e não Deus na mão do que te traspassa. 10 Da morte dos incircuncisos morrerás, por mãos dos estranhos; porque eu o falei, diz o Senhor Jeová.

11 Veio mais a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo: 12 Filho do homem, levanta uma lamentação sobre o rei de Tiro e dize-lhe: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Tu és o aferidor da medida, cheio de sabedoria e perfeito em formosura. 13 Estavas no Éden, jardim de Deus; toda pedra preciosa era a tua cobertura: a sardônia, o topázio, o diamante, a turquesa, o ônix, o jaspe, a safira, o carbúnculo, a esmeralda e o ouro; a obra dos teus tambores e dos teus pífaros estava em ti; no dia em que foste criado, foram preparados. 14 Tu eras querubim ungido para proteger, e te estabeleci; no monte santo de Deus estavas, no meio das pedras afogueadas andavas. 15 Perfeito eras nos teus caminhos, desde o dia em que foste criado, até que se achou iniquidade em ti. 16 Na multiplicação do teu comércio, se encheu o teu interior de violência, e pecaste; pelo que te lançarei, profanado, fora do monte de Deus e te farei perecer, ó querubim protetor, entre pedras afogueadas. 17 Elevou-se o teu coração por causa da tua formosura, corrompeste a tua sabedoria por causa do teu resplendor; por terra te lancei, diante dos reis te pus, para que olhem para ti. 18 Pela multidão das tuas iniquidades, pela injustiça do teu comércio, profanaste os teus santuários; eu, pois, fiz sair do meio de ti um fogo, que te consumiu a ti, e te tornei em cinza sobre a terra, aos olhos de todos os que te veem. 19 Todos os que te conhecem entre os povos estão espantados de ti; em grande espanto te tornaste e nunca mais serás para sempre.

20 E veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo: 21 Filho do homem, dirige o rosto contra Sidom e profetiza contra ela, 22 e dize: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis-me contra ti, ó Sidom, e serei glorificado no meio de ti; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor, quando nela executar juízos e nela me santificar. 23 Porque enviarei contra ela a peste e o sangue nas suas ruas, e os traspassados cairão no meio dela, estando a espada em roda contra ela; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor. 24 E a casa de Israel nunca mais terá espinho que a pique, nem espinho que cause dor, de qualquer que ao redor deles os roubam; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor Jeová. 25 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Quando eu congregar a casa de Israel dentre os povos entre os quais estão espalhados e eu me santificar entre eles, perante os olhos das nações, então, habitarão na sua terra que dei a meu servo, a Jacó. 26 E habitarão nela seguros, e edificarão casas, e plantarão vinhas; sim, habitarão seguros, quando eu executar juízos contra todos os que roubam nos seus contornos; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor, seu Deus.
