1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If a man or a woman have vowed the special vow of a Nazarite, to consecrate themselves to Jehovah; 3 he shall separate himself from wine and strong drink: he shall drink no vinegar of wine, nor vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat grapes, fresh or dried. 4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine, from the seed-stones, even to the skin. 5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head; until the days be fulfilled, that he hath consecrated himself to Jehovah, he shall be holy; he shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow. 6 All the days that he hath consecrated himself to Jehovah, he shall come near no dead body. 7 He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister when they die; for the consecration of his God*GodHebrew: Elohim is upon his head. 8 All the days of his separation he is holy to Jehovah. 9 And if any one die unexpectedly by him suddenly, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day shall he shave it. 10 And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, to the priest, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 11 And the priest shall offer one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead person; and he shall hallow his head that same day. 12 And he shall again consecrate to Jehovah the days of his separation, and shall bring a yearling lamb for a trespass-offering. But the first days are forfeited, for his consecration hath been defiled. 13 And this is the law of the Nazarite on the day when the days of his consecration are fulfilled: he shall be brought to the entrance of the tent of meeting. 14 And he shall present his offering to Jehovah, one yearling he-lamb without blemish for a burnt-offering, and one yearling ewe-lamb without blemish for a sin-offering, and one ram without blemish for a peace-offering; 15 and a basket with unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and their oblation, and their drink-offerings. 16 And the priest shall present them before Jehovah, and shall offer his sin-offering and his burnt-offering: 17 and he shall offer the ram, a sacrifice of peace-offering to Jehovah, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall offer also his oblation and his drink-offering. 18 And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his consecration at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and shall take the hair of the head of his consecration, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace-offering. 19 And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after he hath shaven the hair of his consecration. 20 And the priest shall wave them as wave-offering before Jehovah; it is holy for the priest, with the breast of the wave-offering and with the shoulder of the heave-offering; and afterwards the Nazarite may drink wine. 21 This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed: his offering to Jehovah for his consecration, beside what his hand is able to get; according to the vow which he vowed, so shall he do, according to the law of his consecration.

22 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel: saying unto them, 24 Jehovah bless thee, and keep thee; 25 Jehovah make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; 26 Jehovah lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. 27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

1 Domnul a vorbit lui Moise și a zis: 2 „Vorbește copiilor lui Israel și spune-le: ‘Când un bărbat sau o femeie se va despărți*Lev. 27:2.Jud. 13:5.Fapte 21:23.Rom. 1:1. de ceilalți, făcând o juruință de nazireat*6:2 Nazireat înseamnă a se despărți de ceilalți, a se supune la înfrânări., ca să se închine Domnului, 3 să se*Amos 2:12.Luca 1:15. ferească de vin și de băutură îmbătătoare; să nu bea nici oțet făcut din vin, nici oțet făcut din vreo băutură îmbătătoare; să nu bea nicio băutură stoarsă din struguri și să nu mănânce struguri proaspeți, nici uscați. 4 În tot timpul nazireatului lui, să nu mănânce nimic care vine din viță, de la sâmburi până la pielița strugurelui. 5 În tot timpul nazireatului, briciul*Jud. 13:5;16:17.1 Sam. 1:11. să nu treacă pe capul lui; până la împlinirea zilelor pentru care s-a închinat Domnului, va fi sfânt; să-și lase părul să crească în voie. 6 În tot timpul cât s-a făgăduit Domnului prin jurământ, să nu se apropie de*Lev. 21:11. Cap. 19:11,16. un mort; 7 să nu se pângărească nici la moartea tatălui*Lev. 21:1,2,11. Cap. 9:6. său, nici a mamei sale, nici a fratelui său, nici a surorii sale, căci poartă pe cap închinarea Dumnezeului lui. 8 În tot timpul nazireatului, să fie închinat Domnului. 9 Dacă moare cineva de moarte năprasnică lângă el și capul lui închinat se face astfel necurat, să-și radă*Fapte 18:18;21:24. capul în ziua curățirii, și anume să și-l radă a șaptea zi. 10 În ziua a opta*Lev. 5:7;14:22;15:14,29., să aducă preotului două turturele sau doi pui de porumbel, la ușa cortului întâlnirii. 11 Preotul să jertfească pe unul ca jertfă de ispășire, iar pe celălalt ca ardere-de-tot și să facă pentru el ispășirea păcatului lui, făcut cu prilejul mortului. Nazireul să-și sfințească apoi capul chiar în ziua aceea. 12 Să închine din nou Domnului zilele nazireatului lui dinainte și să aducă un miel de un an ca*Lev. 5:6. jertfă pentru vină; zilele dinainte nu vor fi socotite, pentru că nazireatul lui a fost pângărit.

13 Iată legea nazireului. În ziua*Fapte 21:26. când se va împlini vremea nazireatului lui, să fie adus la ușa cortului întâlnirii. 14 Ca dar, să aducă Domnului un miel de un an fără cusur pentru arderea-de-tot, o oaie de un an și fără cusur pentru jertfa*Lev. 4:2,27,32. de ispășire și un berbec fără cusur pentru jertfa*Lev. 3:6. de mulțumire; 15 un coș cu azimi, turte făcute din floarea*Lev. 2:4. făinii frământată*Exod 29:2. cu untdelemn, și plăcinte fără aluat, stropite cu untdelemn, împreună cu darul de mâncare și jertfa de*Cap. 15:5,7,10. băutură obișnuite. 16 Preotul să aducă aceste lucruri înaintea Domnului și să aducă jertfa lui de ispășire și arderea-de-tot; 17 să pregătească berbecul ca jertfă de mulțumire Domnului, împreună cu coșul cu azimi, și să pregătească și darul lui de mâncare și jertfa lui de băutură. 18 Nazireul*Fapte 21:24. să-și radă, la ușa cortului întâlnirii, capul închinat Domnului; să ia părul capului său închinat Domnului și să-l pună pe focul care este sub jertfa de mulțumire. 19 Preotul să ia*1 Sam. 2:15. spata dreaptă fiartă a berbecului, o turtă nedospită din coș și o plăcintă nedospită și să le pună*Exod 29:23,24. în mâinile nazireului, după ce acesta și-a ras capul închinat Domnului. 20 Preotul să le legene într-o parte și într-alta înaintea Domnului: acesta*Exod 29:27,28. este un lucru sfânt, care este al preotului, împreună cu pieptul legănat și spata adusă ca jertfă prin ridicare. Apoi, nazireul va putea să bea vin. 21 Aceasta este legea pentru cel ce a făcut juruința de nazireat: acesta este darul lui, care trebuie adus Domnului pentru nazireatul lui, afară de ce-i vor îngădui mijloacele lui. Să împlinească tot ce este poruncit pentru juruința pe care a făcut-o, după legea nazireatului.’"

22 Domnul a vorbit lui Moise și a zis: 23 „Vorbește lui Aaron și fiilor lui și spune-le: ‘Așa să binecuvântați*Lev. 9:22.1 Cron. 23:13. pe copiii lui Israel și să le ziceți: 24 «Domnul să te binecuvânteze și să te păzească*Ps. 121:7.Ioan 17:11.! 25 Domnul să facă să lumineze*Ps. 31:16;67:1;80:3,7,19;119:135.Dan. 9:17. Fața Lui peste tine și să Se îndure*Gen. 43:29. de tine! 26 Domnul să-Și înalțe*Ps. 4:6. Fața peste tine și să-ți dea*Ioan 14:27.2 Tes. 3:16. pacea!» 27 Astfel să pună*Deut. 28:10.2 Cron. 7:14.Is. 43:7.Dan. 9:18,19. Numele Meu peste copiii lui Israel, și Eu*Ps. 115:12. îi voi binecuvânta.’"
