1 Mais uma resposta de Bildade:2 Deus é poderoso e temível. Mantém os céus em paz.3 Quem seria capaz de contar os seus servidores? A sua luz desce sobre toda a Terra.4 Como poderia então um simples ser humano, perante Deus,afirmar que é justo? Quem, em toda a face da Terra, se poderá gabar de ser puro?5 A glória de Deus é de tal ordem que até os astros, a Lua e as estrelas,são pouco mais que nada em comparação com ele.6 Portanto, que pode valer uma pessoa,que não passa de um pequeno verme, perante ele?

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,2 Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; and the stars are not pure in his sight.6 How much less man, that is a worm; and the son of man, who is a worm?
