Ezequiel 37

A visão dum vale de ossos secos

1 *Ez 1.3;33.22;40.1A mão de Jeová veio sobre mim, e ele *Ez 8.3;11.24;43.5;At 8.39me levou para fora no Espírito de Jeová, e me pôs no meio do *Jr 7.32—8.2vale que estava cheio de ossos, 2 e fez-me passar por toda a roda deles. Eis que havia muitíssimos sobre a face do vale; e eis que estavam em *Ez 37.11extremo secos. 3 Ele me perguntou: Filho do homem, *Is 26.19acaso, podem estes ossos reviver? Respondi: Senhor Jeová, *Dt 32.39;1Sm 2.6tu sabes. 4 Disse-me mais: *Ez 37.9,12;Nm 20.8;1Rs 13.2Profetiza sobre estes ossos e dize-lhes: Ossos secos, *Ez 36.1;Is 42.18;Jr 22.29ouvi a palavra de Jeová. 5 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová a estes ossos: Eis que vou fazer entrar em vós *Ez 37.9-10,14;Gn 2.7;Sl 104.29-30o fôlego, e vivereis. 6 *Ez 37.8-10Porei sobre vós nervos, e farei crescer carnes sobre vós; porei em vós o fôlego, e vivereis; *Ez 35.9;38.23;39.6;Is 49.23;Jl 2.27;3.17sabereis que eu sou Jeová.

Vivificação dos ossos secos

7 Assim profetizei, *Jr 13.5-7como fui ordenado. Enquanto eu profetizava, houve um estrondo, e eis que se fez um *Ez 38.19terremoto, e os ossos se achegaram osso ao seu osso. 8 Olhei, e eis que estavam nervos sobre eles, e cresceram as carnes, e a pele os cobriu por cima; porém não havia neles fôlego. 9 Então, ele disse-me: Profetiza ao *Ez 37.5,14vento, profetiza, filho do homem, e dize ao vento: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Vem, ó fôlego, dos quatro ventos e assopra sobre estes mortos, para que *Os 13.14vivam. 10 Assim profetizei, como ele me ordenou, e o *Ez 37.5-6fôlego entrou neles, e viveram e se levantaram sobre os seus pés, um *Jr 30.19;33.22exército grande em extremo.

Os ossos secos são tipos do povo de Deus

11 Então, me disse: Filho do homem, estes ossos são *Ez 36.10;39.25;Jr 33.24toda a casa de Israel.

Eis que dizem: *Sl 141.7;Is 40.27Os nossos ossos secaram-se, e está perdida a nossa esperança.

Somos inteiramente *Sl 88.5;Lm 3.54exterminados. 12 Portanto, profetiza e dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que vou abrir as vossas sepulturas, *Dt 32.39;1Sm 2.6;Is 26.19;66.14;Os 13.14e vos farei subir das vossas sepulturas, ó povo meu, e vos introduzirei na *Ez 37.25;Ez 28.25;36.24;Ed 1.2;Am 9.14-15terra de Israel. 13 *Ez 17.24;Sl 126.2-3Sabereis que eu sou Jeová, quando *Ez 37.6,12eu tiver aberto as vossas sepulturas, e vos tiver feito subir das vossas sepulturas, ó povo meu. 14 *Ez 37.9;Ez 11.19;36.27;39.29;Is 32.15;Jl 2.28-29;Zc 12.10Porei em vós o meu Espírito, e vivereis, e vos meterei na vossa terra.

Sabereis *Ez 36.36que eu, Jeová, o falei e o cumpri, diz Jeová.

Reunião de Judá e Israel

15 De novo a palavra de Jeová veio a mim, dizendo: 16 Tu, filho do homem, toma *Nm 17.2-3um pau, e escreve nele: *2Cr 10.17;11.11-17;15.9Para Judá e para os filhos de Israel, seus companheiros; depois, toma outro pau, e escreve nele: *1Rs 12.16-20;2Cr 10.19Para José, pau de Efraim, e para toda a casa de Israel, seus companheiros; 17 *Ez 37.22-24;Is 11.13;Jr 50.4;Os 1.11;Sf 3.9e unindo-os um ao outro, faze deles um só pau, para que se tornem um só na tua mão. 18 Quando vos disseram os filhos do teu povo: Porventura, não nos descobrirás *Ez 12.9;17.12;20.49;24.19o que queres dizer com isso? 19 Dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que vou *Ez 37.16-17tomar o pau de José, que está na mão de Efraim, e as tribos de Israel, seus companheiros; e ajuntá-los-ei com ele, a saber, com o pau de Judá, e deles farei um só pau, e serão um só na minha mão. 20 Os paus, em que escreves estarão na tua mão diante dos seus olhos. 21 Dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que vou *Ez 36.24;39.27;Is 43.5-6;Jr 29.14;Am 9.14-15tomar dentre as nações os filhos de Israel para onde eles tiverem ido, e os congregarei de todos os lados, e os introduzirei na sua terra. 22 Deles farei *Ez 36.10;Jr 3.18;50.4-5uma só nação na terra, sobre os mortos de Israel; *Ez 37.24;Ez 34.23-24e um só rei reinará sobre eles todos. Nunca mais serão duas nações, nem de maneira alguma se dividirão para o futuro em dois reinos; 23 nem *Ez 11.18;43.7se contaminarão mais com os seus ídolos, nem com as suas abominações, nem com qualquer uma das suas transgressões; mas eu os livrarei de todas as *Ez 6.6,14suas habitações em que têm pecado e *Ez 36.25os purificarei. Assim, eles serão *Ez 37.27;Ez 36.28o meu povo, e eu serei o seu Deus.

Davi será seu rei

24 O meu servo *Ez 37.25;Ez 34.24;Jr 30.9;Os 3.5Davi será rei sobre eles; e todos eles terão *Ez 34.23;Sl 78.71;Is 40.11um só pastor.

Também andarão nos meus juízos, e guardarão os meus estatutos, e os praticarão. 25 Habitarão *Ez 28.25na terra que dei ao meu servo Jacó, na qual vossos pais habitaram; nela habitarão, eles, e seus filhos, e os filhos de seus filhos, para sempre; e o *Ez 37.24;Is 11.1;Zc 6.12meu servo Davi será para sempre o seu príncipe. 26 Demais, farei com eles *Ez 16.62;20.37;34.25uma aliança de paz; será com eles uma *Ez 16.60;Sl 89.3-4;Is 55.3;59.21aliança perpétua. Estabelecê-los-ei, e os *Ez 36.10-11,37;Jr 30.19multiplicarei, e porei para sempre o *Ez 20.40;43.7meu santuário no meio deles. 27 Também *Jo 1.14o meu tabernáculo estará com eles; *Ez 37.23;2Co 6.16eu serei o seu Deus, e eles serão o meu povo. 28 As nações saberão que eu sou Jeová que *Ez 20.12;Êx 31.13santifico a Israel, quando o meu santuário estiver para sempre no meio deles.

1 Yahweh’s hand was on me, and he brought me out in Yahweh’s Spirit, and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 He caused me to pass by them all around; and behold, there were very many in the open valley, and behold, they were very dry. 3 He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"

I answered, "Lord Yahweh, you know."

4 Again he said to me, "Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, ‘You dry bones, hear Yahweh’s word. 5 The Lord Yahweh says to these bones: "Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live. 6 I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am Yahweh."’"

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. As I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, there was an earthquake. Then the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 I saw, and, behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them.

9 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: "Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live."’"

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

11 Then he said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost. We are completely cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy, and tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: "Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel. 13 You will know that I am Yahweh, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, my people. 14 I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live. Then I will place you in your own land; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken it and performed it," says Yahweh.’"

15 Yahweh’s word came again to me, saying, 16 "You, son of man, take one stick and write on it, ‘For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions.’ Then take another stick, and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions.’ 17 Then join them for yourself to one another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.

18 "When the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Won’t you show us what you mean by these?’ 19 tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: "Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in my hand. 20 The sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes."’ 21 Say to them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: "Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land. 22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. One king will be king to them all. They will no longer be two nations. They won’t be divided into two kingdoms any more at all. 23 They won’t defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. So they will be my people, and I will be their God.

24 "‘"My servant David will be king over them. They all will have one shepherd. They will also walk in my ordinances and observe my statutes, and do them. 25 They will dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived. They will dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children’s children, forever. David my servant will be their prince forever. 26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them. It will be an everlasting covenant with them. I will place them, multiply them, and will set my sanctuary among them forever more. 27 My tent also will be with them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 28 The nations will know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is among them forever more."’"
