2 \62:1\My soul, put all your faith in God; for from him comes my salvation.

3 \62:2\He only is my Rock and my salvation; he is my high tower; I will not be greatly moved.

4 \62:3\How long will you go on designing evil against a man? running against him as against a broken wall, which is on the point of falling?

5 \62:4\Their only thought is to put him down from his place of honour; their delight is in deceit: blessing is in their mouths but cursing in their hearts. (Selah.)

6 \62:5\My soul, put all your faith in God; for from him comes my hope.

7 \62:6\He only is my Rock and my salvation; he is my high tower; I will not be greatly moved.

8 \62:7\In God is my salvation, and my glory; the Rock of my strength, and my safe place.

9 \62:8\Have faith in him at all times, you people; let your hearts go flowing out before him: God is our safe place. (Selah.)

10 \62:9\Truly men of low birth are nothing, and men of high position are not what they seem; if they are put in the scales together they are less than a breath.

11 \62:10\Have no faith in the rewards of evil-doing, or in profits wrongly made: if your wealth is increased, do not put your hopes on it.

12 \62:11\Once has God said, twice has it come to my ears, that power is God's:

13 \62:12\And mercy, O Lord, is yours, for you give to every man the reward of his work.

2 Csak Istenben nyugoszik meg lelkem; tõle van az én szabadulásom.

3 Csak õ az én kõsziklám és szabadulásom; õ az én oltalmam, azért nem rendülök meg felettébb.

4 Meddig támadtok még egy ember ellen; [meddig] törtök ellene valamennyien, mint meghanyatlott fal és dûlõ kerítés ellen?

5 Csak arról tanácskoznak, mimódon vessék õt le méltóságából; szeretik a hazugságot; szájukkal áldanak, szívükben átkoznak. Szela.

6 Csak Istenben nyugodjál meg lelkem, mert tõle van reménységem.

7 Csak õ az én kõsziklám és szabadulásom; õ az én oltalmam, azért nem rendülök meg.

8 Istennél van szabadulásom és dicsõségem; az én erõs kõsziklám, az én menedékem Istenben van.

9 Bízzatok õ benne mindenkor, ti népek; öntsétek ki elõtte szíveteket; Istn a mi menedékünk. Szela.

10 Bizony hiábavalók a közembernek fiai és hazugok a fõembernek fiai; ha mérõserpenyõbe vettetnek, mind alábbvalók a semminél.

11 Ne bízzatok zsarolt javakban, és rablott jószággal ne kevélykedjetek; a vagyonban, ha nõ, ne bizakodjatok;

12 Egyszer szólott az Isten, kétszer hallottam ugyanazt, hogy a hatalom az Istené. [ (Psalms 62:13) Tiéd Uram a kegyelem is. Bizony te fizetsz meg mindenkinek az õ cselekedete szerint! ]
