Psalms 93

1 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty;

the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength;

indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.

2 Your throne was established long ago;

you are from all eternity.

3 The seas have lifted up, Lord,

the seas have lifted up their voice;

the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.

4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,

mightier than the breakers of the sea—

the Lord on high is mighty.

5 Your statutes, Lord, stand firm;

holiness adorns your house

for endless days.

1 O Senhor reina! Está vestido de majestade;

o Senhor está vestido e armado de poder!

O mundo está firme e não se abalará.

2 O teu trono está firme desde a antiguidade;

tu existes desde a eternidade.

3 As águas se levantaram, Senhor,

as águas levantaram a voz;

as águas levantaram o seu bramido.

4 Mais poderoso do que o estrondo das águas impetuosas,

mais poderoso do que as ondas do mar

é o Senhor nas alturas.

5 Os teus testemunhos permanecem firmes e fiéis;

a santidade, Senhor,

é o ornamento perpétuo da tua casa.
