1 Com madeira de acácia faz também um altar de 2,5 metros de lado e 1,5 de altura.
2 Porás chifres nos quatro cantos do altar, o quais ficarão muito bem fixados, de forma a fazerem um só corpo com o altar. Revestirás tudo de bronze. E todos os seus utensílios serão da mesma forma em bronze: os recipientes para recolher as cinzas, as pás, as bacias, os garfos e os ganchos.
4 O altar terá também uma grelha, com argolas nos cantos; e ficará pendurado a meia altura da caixa interior do altar.
6 Para poder deslocar este altar faz-lhe varas de madeira de acácia, revestida de bronze, que passem por argolas de cada lado do altar. Este deve ser oco, e feito de pranchas, tal como te foi mostrado no monte.
9 Seguidamente farás um pátio para o tabernáculo, cercado por cortinas de linho fino retorcido. Ao sul, as cortinas medirão 50 metros, e ficarão suspensas por 20 postes, os quais estarão assentes em 20 bases de bronze. As cortinas estarão penduradas em ganchos de prata os quais estarão presos a pequenas hastes de prata ligadas aos postes. Será o mesmo quanto ao lado norte do pátio: 50 metros de cortinas, seguras por vinte postes assentes em bases de cobre, com ganchos e hastes de prata. O lado ocidental terá 25 metros de largo com dez postes e dez bases. O lado oriental terá igualmente 25 metros, mas da seguinte maneira: 7 metros e meio de cortinas de cada lado da entrada, suspensas por três postes, embutidos em três bases.
16 A entrada do pátio terá uma cortina de 10 metros de largo, com artísticos bordados com linho fino retorcido, a azul, púrpura e vermelho.
17 Todos os postes à volta do pátio deverão estar ligados entre si com varas de prata. Os ganchos serão de prata, e todos os postes embutidos em sólidas bases de prata.
18 Assim o pátio terá 50 metros de comprimento, por 25 de largura, com paredes de cortinas de 2,5 metros de altura, feitas com linho fino retorcido.
19 Todos os utensílios utilizados no serviço do tabernáculo, incluindo os pregos e as cavilhas para pendurar na parede os diferentes objectos, serão feitos de bronze.
20 Dá instruções ao povo para que te traga azeite puro para ser usado nas lâmpadas do tabernáculo, para que estejam ardendo continuamente.
21 Arão e os seus filhos colocarão esta chama eterna no lado de fora do véu, no lugar santo, e ocupar-se-ão dela de forma a que brilhe noite e dia diante do Senhor, sem nunca se apagar. Isto é uma lei que nunca será alterada em todas as gerações dos filhos de Israel.
1 And thou shalt make the altar of acacia wood,of five cubits length and five cubits breadth four square, shall the altar be, and three cubits the height thereof.
2 And thou shalt make its horns upon its four corners, of the same, shall be its horns,and thou shalt overlay it with copper.
3 And thou shalt make its pans for removing its ashes, and its shovels and its sprinkling bowls, and its flesh-hooks and its fire-pans,all its vessels, shalt thou make of bronze.
4 And thou shalt make to it a grating, a network of bronze,and thou shalt make upon the network, four rings of bronze, upon the four corners thereof.
5 And thou shalt place it under the margin of the altar beneath,so shall the network reach unto the midst of the altar.
6 And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of acacia wood,and shalt overlay them with copper.
7 And the staves shall be brought into the rings,so shall the staves be on the two sides of the altar in lifting it:
8 Hollow with boards, shalt thou make it,as it was showed thee in the mount, so, shall they make it.
9 And thou shalt make the court of the habitation,on the south side southward, hangings for the court of fine-twined linen, a hundred cubits in length to the one side;
10 and the pillars thereof twenty, with their sockets twenty, of bronze,and the hooks of the pillars and their cross-rods of silver.
11 And, so, for the north side in length, hangings a hundred cubits,and the pillars thereof twenty, and their sockets twenty. of bronze, and the hooks of the pillars and their cross-rods of silver.
12 And, the breadth of the court on the west side, hangings fifty cubits,their pillars ten, and their sockets ten.
13 And, the breadth of the court on the east side eastward, fifty cubits;
14 and fifteen cubits the hangings for the side-piece,their pillars three, and their sockets three;
15 and, for the second side-piece, fifteen hangings,their pillars three, and their sockets three,
16 And for the gate of the court, a screen of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple and crimson and fine-twined linen, the work of an embroiderer,their pillars four, and their sockets four.
17 All the pillars of the court round about, to be joined with cross-rods of silver, and their hooks of silver,and their sockets of bronze,
18 The length of the court, a hundred cubits and the breadth fifty throughout and the height five cubits of fine-twined linen,and their sockets, of bronze.
19 All the utensils of the habitation, throughout all the service thereof,and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, of bronze.
20 Thou thyself, therefore, shalt command the sons of Israel that they bring unto theepure, beaten olive-oil, for giving light,that the lamp may lift up its flame continually.
21 In the tent of meeting, outside the veil which is by the testimony, shall Aaron and his sons order it from evening until morning, before Yahweh,a statute age-abiding, to their generations, from the sons of Israel.
