1 O altar dos sacrifícios queimados (holocaustos) foi igualmente construído em madeira de acácia, quadrado, com 2,5 metros de lado e 1,5 metro de altura. Tinha quatro chifres em cada canto, tudo de uma só peça com o resto. Este altar foi revestido de bronze.

3 Depois fez em bronze os utensílios a serem empregados no serviço do altar: as caldeiras, as pás, as bacias, os garfos e os braseiros. Seguidamente fez uma grelha de bronze que ficou apoiado numa cercadura, na parte inferior, a meia altura. Foram feitas ainda quatro argolas para cada lado da grelha, para nelas se porem os varais, quando do transporte. Estas varas eram feitas de madeira de acácia revestidas de bronze. Pôs também dois varais nas argolas aos lados do altar a fim de ser transportado. Este altar, feito de pranchas, era oco por dentro.

8 A bacia de bronze e o seu pé, da mesma liga, foi feita com os espelhos das mulheres, as quais se juntaram à entrada do tabernáculo.

9 Em seguida foi a vez do pátio. A parede do sul tinha 50 metros de comprimento, e consistia em cortinas de linho fino retorcido. Havia vinte postes, para manter as cortinas, e que assentavam em bases de bronze, e tinham ganchos e hastes de prata. A parede no norte media, da mesma forma, 50 metros, com vinte colunas e bases de bronze, assim como também com ganchos e hastes de prata. O lado ocidental ficou com 25 metros. As cortinas foram suspensas em dez postes, com as suas bases, e com ganchos e hastes de prata. O lado oriental tinha igualmente 25 metros.

14 As cortinas de ambos os lados da entrada tinham 7 metros e meio de comprimento com três postes e três bases. Todas as cortinas que formavam as paredes do pátio eram tecidas com linho fino retorcido. Cada poste tinha uma base de bronze e todos os ganchos e hastes foram feitos de prata maciça.

18 As cortinas da entrada do pátio foram feitas também em linho fino retorcido, artisticamente bordadas em azul, púrpura e carmezim. Tinha essa entrada 10 metros de comprimento e 2 de altura (a largura do tecido), justamente tal como todo o resto da parede do pátio. As cortinas desta porta eram sustentadas por quatro colunas com quatro bases de bronze e com ganchos e hastes de prata. Os cimos dos postes eram de prata.

20 Todas as estacas, tanto do tabernáculo como do pátio, eram de bronze.

21 Esta é a enumeração das várias fases da construção do tabernáculo para abrigar a arca, de forma a que os levitas pudessem cumprir o seu ministério. Tudo foi feito na ordem indicada por Moisés e sob a inspecção de Itamar, filho de Arão o sacerdote. Bezalel (filho de Uri e neto de Hur, da tribo de Judá) era o responsável por tudo, e foi assistido por Aoliabe (filho de Aisamaque da tribo de Dan), que também era um hábil artífice e perito em trabalhos de gravação, de tecelagem e de bordados em azul, em púrpura, em carmezim, e em tecidos de linho fino.

24 Os donativos que o povo trouxe ascenderam a 1.000 quilos de ouro; todo ele foi usado no tabernáculo.

25 O montante da prata foi de 3.500 quilos, que vieram da taxa paga de 6 gramas de prata por todos os que estavam registados, segundo o censo do povo, de vinte anos para cima, num total de 603.550 homens. As bases para as tábuas das paredes do santuário e para os postes que sustentavam o véu requereram 3.400 quilos de prata, ou seja 34 quilos por cada base aproximadamente. O resto da prata foi empregue nos postes e no revestimento dos seus cimos, assim como nos ganchos e hastes.

29 O povo trouxe 2.400 quilos de bronze que foi usado na fundição das bases dos postes da entrada do tabernáculo e na construção do altar de bronze, na sua grelha e seus utensílios, nas bases das colunas que suportam as cortinas da entrada do pátio e nas estacas empregadas na montagem do tabernáculo e do pátio.

1 And he made the altar for the ascending-sacrifice of acacia wood,five cubits, the length thereof and, five cubits, the breadth thereof foursquare, and, three cubits, the height thereof.

2 And he made the horns thereof, upon the four corners thereof, of the same, were the horns thereof,and he overlaid it with bronze.

3 And he made all the utensils of the altarthe pans and the shovels, and the sprinkling bowls, the flesh-hooks and the fire-pans,all the utensils thereof, made he of bronze.

4 And he made to the altar a grating, of network of bronze,under the margin thereof beneath as far as the midst thereof.

5 And he cast four rings in the four corners to the grating of bronze,as receptacles for the staves,

6 And he made the staves of acacia wood,and overlaid them with bronze.

7 And he brought the staves into the rings, upon the sides of the altar, to lift it therewith,hollow with boards, did he make it.

8 And he made the laver of bronze, and the stand thereof of bronze,with the mirrors of the female hosts who did service at the opening of the tent of meeting.

9 And he made the court,on the south side southward, the hangings of the court of fine twined linen, a hundred cubits;

10 their pillars, twenty, and their sockets twenty, of bronze,the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods, of silver:

11 and, on the north side, a hundred cubits, their pillars, twenty, and, their sockets twenty, of bronze,the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods, of silver.

12 And on the west side, hangings, fifty cubits, their pillars, ten, and, their sockets, ten,and, the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods, of silver.

13 And on the east side towards the dawn, fifty cubits:

14 hangings, fifteen cubits, for the side-piece,their pillars, three, and, their sockets three;

15 and, for the second sidepiece on this side and on that of the gate of the court, hangings, fifteen cubits,their pillars three, and their sockets, three.

16 All the hangings of the court round about were of fine twined linen.

17 And, the sockets for the pillars, were of bronze, the hooks of the pillars and their connecting-rods of silver,and the overlaying of their capitals, was silver,and, they themselves, were filleted with silver, even all the pillars of the court,

18 And, the screen of the gate of the court was the work of an embroiderer, blue and purple and crimson, and fine-twined linen,and, twenty cubits, in length, and the height, according to the breadth, of five cubits, to match the curtains of the court;

19 and, their pillars, were four, and, their sockets, four, of bronze,their hooks, of silver, and the overlaying of their capitals and their connecting-rods, of silver.

20 And, all the pins for the habitation, and for the court round about, of bronze.

21 These, are the details of the habitationthe habitation of testimony, which were detailed at the bidding of Moses,the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.

22 So then Bezaleel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that Yahweh had commanded Moses.

23 And, with him, was Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an artificer and skilful weaver,and an embroidererin blue, and in purple and in crimson and in fine linen.

24 As for all the gold that was used for, he work, in all the construction of the sanctuary, it came to pass that the gold of the wave-offering was nine-and-twenty talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels by the shekel of the sanctuary.

25 And, the silver of them who were numbered of the assembly, was one hundred talents,and one thousand, seven hundred and seventy-five shekels by the shekel of the sanctuary;

26 a bekah per head, that is a half shekel, by the shekel of the sanctuary, for all that passed over to them who had been numbered, from twenty years old and upwards, for six hundred and three thousand, and five hundred and fifty.

27 And it came to pass that the hundred talents of silver were used for casting the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the veil,one hundred sockets with the hundred talents a talent for a socket.

28 And with the thousand, seven hundred and seventy-five, made the hooks for the pillars,and overlaid their capitals and united them with connecting-rods.

29 And the bronze of the wave-offering, was seventy talents,and two thousand and four hundred shekels.

30 And he made therewith, the sockets for the opening of the tent of meeting, and the altar of bronze and the grating of bronze which pertained thereto,and all the utensils of the altar,

31 and the sockets for the court round about, and the sockets for the gate of the court,and all the pins for the habitation and all the pins for the court round about.
