1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto Jehovah thy God; for in the month of Abib Jehovah thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. 2 And thou shalt sacrifice the passover unto Jehovah thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Jehovah shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there. 3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life. 4 And there shall be no leaven seen with thee in all thy borders seven days; neither shall any of the flesh, which thou sacrificest the first day at even, remain all night until the morning. 5 Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee; 6 but at the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt. 7 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents. 8 Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread; and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Jehovah thy God; thou shalt do no work therein.

9 Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: from the time thou beginnest to put the sickle to the standing grain shalt thou begin to number seven weeks. 10 And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto Jehovah thy God with a tribute of a freewill-offering of thy hand, which thou shalt give, according as Jehovah thy God blesseth thee: 11 and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are in the midst of thee, in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there. 12 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.

13 Thou shalt keep the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in from thy threshing-floor and from thy winepress: 14 and thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite, and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates. 15 Seven days shalt thou keep a feast unto Jehovah thy God in the place which Jehovah shall choose; because Jehovah thy God will bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the work of thy hands, and thou shalt be altogether joyful. 16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before Jehovah thy God in the place which he shall choose: in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles; and they shall not appear before Jehovah empty: 17 every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Jehovah thy God which he hath given thee.

18 Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, according to thy tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. 19 Thou shalt not wrest justice: thou shalt not respect persons; neither shalt thou take a bribe; for a bribe doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous. 20 That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.

21 Thou shalt not plant thee an Asherah of any kind of tree beside the altar of Jehovah thy God, which thou shalt make thee. 22 Neither shalt thou set thee up a pillar; which Jehovah thy God hateth.

1 Păzește luna*Exod 12:2. spicelor și prăznuiește Sărbătoarea Paștelor în cinstea Domnului Dumnezeului tău, căci în luna spicelor*Exod 13:4;34:18. te-a scos Domnul Dumnezeul tău din Egipt, noaptea*Exod 12:29,42.. 2 Să jertfești Paștele în cinstea Domnului Dumnezeului tău, jertfele tale de oi și boi*Num. 28:19., în locul*Cap. 12:5,26. pe care-l va alege Domnul ca să-Și așeze Numele acolo. 3 În timpul sărbătorii, să nu mănânci*Exod 12:15,19,39;13:3,6,7;34:18. pâine dospită, ci șapte zile să mănânci azimi, pâinea întristării, căci ai ieșit în grabă din țara Egiptului: așa să faci, ca să-ți aduci aminte toată viața ta de ziua când ai ieșit din țara Egiptului. 4 Să nu se vadă aluat*Exod 13:7. la tine, pe toată întinderea țării tale, timp de șapte zile și nicio parte din*Exod 12:10;34:25. vitele pe care le vei jertfi în seara celei dintâi zile să nu fie păstrată peste noapte, până dimineața. 5 Nu vei putea să jertfești Paștele în vreunul din locurile pe care ți le dă Domnul Dumnezeul tău ca locuință, 6 ci în locul pe care-l va alege Domnul Dumnezeul tău, ca să-Și așeze Numele în el, acolo să jertfești Paștele, seara*Exod 12:6., la apusul soarelui, pe vremea ieșirii tale din Egipt. 7 Să*Exod 12:8,9.2 Cron. 35:13. fierbi vita tăiată și s-o mănânci*2 Împ. 23:23.Ioan 2:13,23;11:55. în locul pe care-l va alege Domnul Dumnezeul tău. Și dimineața, vei putea să te întorci și să te duci în corturile tale. 8 Șase zile să mănânci azimi și a șaptea zi*Exod 12:16;13:6.Lev. 23:8. să fie o adunare de sărbătoare în cinstea Domnului Dumnezeului tău: să nu faci nicio lucrare în ea.

9 Să numeri șapte*Exod 23:16;34:22.Lev. 23:15.Num. 28:26.Fapte 2:1. săptămâni; de când vei începe seceratul grâului, să începi să numeri șapte săptămâni. 10 Apoi să prăznuiești Sărbătoarea Săptămânilor și să aduci daruri de bunăvoie, după*Vers. 17.1 Cor. 16:12. binecuvântarea pe care ți-o va da Domnul Dumnezeul tău. 11 Să te*Cap. 12:7,12,18. Vers. 14. bucuri înaintea Domnului Dumnezeului tău, în locul pe care-l va alege Domnul Dumnezeul tău, ca să locuiască Numele Lui acolo, tu, fiul tău și fiica ta, robul și roaba ta, levitul care va fi în cetățile tale și străinul, orfanul și văduva care vor fi în mijlocul tău. 12 Să-ți aduci*Cap. 15:15. aminte că ai fost rob în Egipt și să păzești și să împlinești legile acestea.

13 Să prăznuiești*Exod 23:16.Lev. 23:34.Num. 29:12. Sărbătoarea Corturilor șapte zile, după ce îți vei strânge roadele din arie și din teasc. 14 Să te*Neem. 8:9. bucuri la sărbătoarea aceasta, tu, fiul tău și fiica ta, robul și roaba ta și levitul, străinul, orfanul și văduva care vor fi în cetățile tale. 15 Să prăznuiești sărbătoarea șapte*Lev. 23:39,40. zile în cinstea Domnului Dumnezeului tău, în locul pe care-l va alege Domnul, căci Domnul Dumnezeul tău te va binecuvânta în toate roadele tale și în tot lucrul mâinilor tale și de aceea să fii vesel. 16 De trei*Exod 23:14,17;34:23. ori pe an, toți bărbații să se înfățișeze înaintea Domnului Dumnezeului tău în locul pe care-l va alege El: la Sărbătoarea Azimilor, la Sărbătoarea Săptămânilor și la Sărbătoarea Corturilor. Să nu*Exod 23:15;34:20. se înfățișeze cu mâinile goale înaintea Domnului. 17 Fiecare să dea ce va putea, după binecuvântarea*Vers. 10. pe care i-o va da Domnul Dumnezeul tău.

18 Să pui judecători*Cap. 1:16.1 Cron. 23:4;26:29.2 Cron. 19:5,8. și dregători în toate cetățile pe care ți le dă Domnul Dumnezeul tău, după semințiile tale, și ei să judece poporul cu dreptate. 19 Să n-atingi*Exod 23:2,6.Lev. 19:15. niciun drept, să nu*Cap. 1:17.Prov. 24:23. cauți la fața oamenilor și să nu iei daruri*Exod 23:8.Prov. 17:23.Ecl. 7:7., căci darurile orbesc ochii înțelepților și sucesc cuvintele celor drepți. 20 Să urmezi cu scumpătate dreptatea, ca să*Ezec. 18:5,9. trăiești și să stăpânești țara pe care ți-o dă Domnul Dumnezeul tău.

21 Să nu-ți*Exod 34:13.1 Împ. 14:15;16:33.2 Împ. 17:16;21:3.2 Cron. 33:3. așezi niciun idol de lemn lângă altarul pe care-l vei ridica Domnului Dumnezeului tău. 22 Să nu*Lev. 26:1. ridici nici stâlpi idolești, care sunt urâți de Domnul Dumnezeul tău.
