1 And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest’s office: take one young bullock and two rams without blemish, 2 and unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened mingled with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of fine wheaten flour shalt thou make them. 3 And thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams. 4 And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tent of meeting, and shalt wash them with water. 5 And thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the skilfully woven band of the ephod; 6 and thou shalt set the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre. 7 Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him. 8 And thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them. 9 And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and bind head-tires on them: and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.

10 And thou shalt bring the bullock before the tent of meeting: and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock. 11 And thou shalt kill the bullock before Jehovah, at the door of the tent of meeting. 12 And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger; and thou shalt pour out all the blood at the base of the altar. 13 And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul upon the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar. 14 But the flesh of the bullock, and its skin, and its dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin-offering.

15 Thou shalt also take the one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram. 16 And thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take its blood, and sprinkle it round about upon the altar. 17 And thou shalt cut the ram into its pieces, and wash its inwards, and its legs, and put them with its pieces, and with its head. 18 And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering unto Jehovah; it is a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

19 And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon the head of the ram. 20 Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of its blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about. 21 And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him. 22 Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat, and the fat tail, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration), 23 and one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before Jehovah: 24 and thou shalt put the whole upon the hands of Aaron, and upon the hands of his sons, and shalt wave them for a wave-offering before Jehovah. 25 And thou shalt take them from their hands, and burn them on the altar upon the burnt-offering, for a sweet savor before Jehovah: it is an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

26 And thou shalt take the breast of Aaron’s ram of consecration, and wave it for a wave-offering before Jehovah: and it shall be thy portion. 27 And thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave-offering, and the thigh of the heave-offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons: 28 and it shall be for Aaron and his sons as their portion for ever from the children of Israel; for it is a heave-offering: and it shall be a heave-offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, even their heave-offering unto Jehovah.

29 And the holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to be consecrated in them. 30 Seven days shall the son that is priest in his stead put them on, when he cometh into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.

31 And thou shalt take the ram of consecration, and boil its flesh in a holy place. 32 And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the tent of meeting. 33 And they shall eat those things wherewith atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because they are holy. 34 And if aught of the flesh of the consecration, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

35 And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them. 36 And every day shalt thou offer the bullock of sin-offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou makest atonement for it; and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it. 37 Seven days thou shalt make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it: and the altar shall be most holy; whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.

38 Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar: two lambs a year old day by day continually. 39 The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even: 40 and with the one lamb a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink-offering. 41 And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meal-offering of the morning, and according to the drink-offering thereof, for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah. 42 It shall be a continual burnt-offering throughout your generations at the door of the tent of meeting before Jehovah, where I will meet with you, to speak there unto thee. 43 And there I will meet with the children of Israel; and the Tent shall be sanctified by my glory. 44 And I will sanctify the tent of meeting, and the altar: Aaron also and his sons will I sanctify, to minister to me in the priest’s office. 45 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God. 46 And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them: I am Jehovah their God.

Ia*Lev. 8:2. un vițel și doi berbeci fără cusur. 2 Fă cu făină aleasă de grâu niște azimi*Lev. 2:4;6:20-22., turte nedospite, frământate cu untdelemn, și plăcinte nedospite, stropite cu untdelemn. 3 Să le pui într-un coș și să le aduci împreună cu vițelul și cei doi berbeci. 4 Să aduci apoi pe Aaron și pe fiii lui la ușa cortului întâlnirii și să-i*Cap. 40:12.Lev. 8:6.Evr. 10:22. speli cu apă. 5 Să iei*Cap. 28:2.Lev. 8:7. veșmintele; să îmbraci pe Aaron cu tunica, cu mantia efodului, cu efodul*Cap. 28:8. și cu pieptarul și să-l încingi cu brâul efodului. 6 Să-i pui*Lev. 8:9. mitra pe cap și pe mitră să pui tabla sfințeniei. 7 Să iei untdelemnul*Cap. 28:41;30:25.Lev. 8:12;10:7;21:10.Num. 35:25. pentru ungere, să i-l torni pe cap și să-l ungi. 8 Să aduci*Lev. 8:13. apoi pe fiii lui și să-i îmbraci cu tunicile. 9 Să încingi pe Aaron și pe fiii lui cu un brâu și să pui scufiile pe capetele fiilor lui Aaron. Preoția*Num. 18:7. va fi a lor printr-o lege veșnică. Astfel să închini pe Aaron*Cap. 28:41.Lev. 8:22.Evr. 7:28. și pe fiii lui în slujba Mea. 10 Să aduci vițelul înaintea cortului întâlnirii și Aaron*Lev. 1:4;8:14. și fiii lui să-și pună mâinile pe capul vițelului. 11 Să junghii vițelul înaintea Domnului, la ușa cortului întâlnirii. 12 Să iei*Lev. 8:15. cu degetul tău din sângele vițelului, să pui pe*Cap. 27:2;30:2. coarnele altarului, iar celălalt sânge să-l verși la picioarele altarului. 13 Să iei*Lev. 3:3. toată grăsimea care acoperă măruntaiele și prapurul ficatului, cei doi rărunchi cu grăsimea care-i acoperă și să le arzi pe altar. 14 Dar carnea*Lev. 4:11,12,21.Evr. 13:11. vițelului, pielea și balega lui să le arzi în foc, afară din tabără: aceasta este o jertfă pentru păcat. 15 Să iei*Lev. 8:18. pe unul din cei doi berbeci; iar Aaron și fiii lui să-și pună*Lev. 1:4-9. mâinile pe capul berbecului. 16 Să junghii berbecul; să-i iei sângele și să-l stropești pe altar de jur împrejur. 17 Apoi, să tai berbecul în bucăți și să-i speli măruntaiele și picioarele, și să le pui lângă celelalte bucăți și lângă capul lui. 18 Berbecul să-l arzi de tot pe altar; aceasta este o ardere-de-tot pentru Domnul, este o jertfă mistuită de foc, de un miros*Gen. 8:21. plăcut Domnului. 19 Să*Vers. 3.Lev. 8:22. iei apoi pe celălalt berbec, iar Aaron și fiii lui să-și pună mâinile pe capul berbecului. 20 Să junghii berbecul; să iei din sângele lui, să pui pe vârful urechii drepte a lui Aaron și pe vârful urechii drepte a fiilor lui, pe degetul cel mare al mâinii lor drepte și pe degetul cel mare al piciorului lor drept, iar celălalt sânge să-l stropești pe altar de jur împrejur. 21 Să iei*Cap. 30:25,31.Lev. 8:30. din sângele de pe altar și din untdelemnul pentru ungere și să stropești pe Aaron și veșmintele lui, pe fiii lui și veșmintele lor. Astfel vor fi închinați*Vers. 1.Evr. 9:22. Aaron și veșmintele lui, fiii și veșmintele lor în slujba Domnului. 22 Să iei apoi grăsimea berbecului, coada, grăsimea care acoperă măruntaiele, prapurul ficatului, cei doi rărunchi cu grăsimea care-i acoperă și spata dreaptă, căci acesta este un berbec de închinare în slujba Domnului; 23 din*Lev. 8:26. coș să iei, din azimile puse înaintea Domnului, o turtă de pâine, o turtă cu untdelemn și o plăcintă. 24 Toate acestea să le pui în mâinile lui Aaron și în mâinile fiilor lui și să le legeni*Lev. 7:30. într-o parte și într-alta, ca un dar legănat înaintea Domnului. 25 Să le*Lev. 8:28. iei apoi din mâinile lor și să le arzi pe altar, deasupra arderii-de-tot; aceasta este o jertfă mistuită de foc înaintea Domnului, de un miros plăcut Domnului. 26 Să iei și*Lev. 8:29. pieptul berbecului care va sluji la închinarea lui Aaron în slujba Domnului și să-l legeni într-o parte și în alta, ca un dar legănat înaintea Domnului: aceasta va fi*Ps. 99:6. partea ta. 27 Să sfințești pieptul*Lev. 7:31,34.Num. 18:11,18.Deut. 18:3. legănat și spata ridicată din berbecul care va sluji la închinarea lui Aaron și a fiilor lui în slujba Domnului, pieptul legănându-l într-o parte și într-alta, spata înfățișând-o înaintea Domnului prin ridicare. 28 Ele vor fi ale lui Aaron și ale fiilor lui, printr-o*Lev. 10:15. lege veșnică, pe care o vor ține copiii lui Israel; căci este o jertfă adusă prin ridicare*Lev. 7:34., și, în jertfele de mulțumire ale copiilor lui Israel, jertfa adusă prin ridicare va fi a Domnului. 29 Veșmintele sfinte ale lui Aaron vor fi după*Num. 20:26,28. el ale fiilor lui, care le vor pune când vor fi unși și când vor fi închinați în*Num. 18:8;35:25. slujbă. 30 Vor fi purtate timp de*Lev. 8:35;9:1,8. șapte zile de acela*Num. 20:28. dintre fiii lui, care îi va urma în slujba preoției și care va intra în cortul întâlnirii ca să facă slujba în Sfântul Locaș. 31 Să iei apoi berbecul pentru închinarea în slujba Domnului și să pui să-i fiarbă*Lev. 8:31. carnea într-un loc sfânt. 32 Aaron și fiii lui să mănânce, la ușa cortului întâlnirii, carnea berbecului și pâinea*Mat. 12:4. din coș. 33 Să mănânce*Lev. 10:14,15,17. astfel tot ce a slujit la facerea ispășirii, ca să fie închinați în slujbă și sfințiți; nimeni*Lev. 22:10. altul să nu mănânce din ele, căci sunt lucruri sfinte. 34 Dacă va rămâne ceva din carnea întrebuințată pentru închinarea în slujbă și din pâine până dimineața, să arzi în foc ce va*Lev. 8:32. rămâne; să nu se mănânce, căci este un lucru sfânt. 35 Să urmezi, cu privire la Aaron și la fiii lui, toate poruncile pe care ți le-am dat. În șapte zile*Cap. 40:12.Lev. 8:33-35. să-i închini în slujbă. 36 În fiecare zi*Evr. 10:11. să mai aduci un vițel ca jertfă pentru păcat, pentru ispășire; să curățești altarul, făcând ispășirea aceasta, și să-l ungi*Cap. 30:26,28,29;40:10. ca să-l sfințești. 37 Timp de șapte zile, să faci ispășire pentru altar și să-l sfințești, și astfel*Cap. 40:10. altarul va fi preasfânt, și oricine*Cap. 30:29.Mat. 23:19. se va atinge de altar va fi sfințit.

38 Iată ce să jertfești pe altar: doi*Num. 28:3.1 Cron. 16:40.2 Cron. 2:4;13:11;31:3.Ezra 3:3. miei de un an în fiecare*Dan. 9:27;12:11. zi, necurmat. 39 Un miel să-l jertfești dimineața*2 Împ. 16:15.Ezec. 46:13-15., iar celălalt miel, seara. 40 Împreună cu cel dintâi miel, să aduci a zecea parte dintr-o efă de floare de făină, frământată într-un sfert de hin*29:40 O măsură = aprox. trei litri. de untdelemn de măsline, fără drojdii, și o jertfă de băutură de un sfert de hin de vin. 41 Pe al doilea miel să-l jertfești seara*1 Împ. 18:29,36.2 Împ. 16:15.Ezra 9:4,5.Ps. 141:2.Dan. 9:21. și să aduci împreună cu el o jertfă de mâncare și o jertfă de băutură ca cele de dimineață; aceasta este o jertfă mistuită de foc de un miros plăcut Domnului. 42 Aceasta este*Vers. 38. Cap. 30:8.Num. 28:6.Dan. 8:11-13. arderea-de-tot necurmată, care va fi adusă de urmașii voștri la ușa cortului întâlnirii, înaintea Domnului; acolo*Cap. 25:22;30:6,36.Num. 17:4. Mă voi întâlni cu voi și îți voi vorbi. 43 Acolo Mă voi întâlni cu copiii lui Israel și locul acela va fi sfințit*Cap. 40:34.1 Împ. 8:11.2 Cron. 5:14;7:1,2,3.Ezec. 43:5.Hag. 2:7,9.Mal. 3:1. de slava Mea. 44 Voi sfinți cortul întâlnirii și altarul; voi*Lev. 21:15;22:9,16. sfinți pe Aaron și pe fiii lui, ca să fie în slujba Mea ca preoți. 45 Eu voi locui*Cap. 25:8.Lev. 26:12.Zah. 2:10.Ioan 14:17,23.2 Cor. 6:16.Apoc. 21:3. în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel și voi fi Dumnezeul lor. 46 Ei vor cunoaște că Eu*Cap. 20:2. sunt Domnul Dumnezeul lor, care i-am scos din țara Egiptului, ca să locuiesc în mijlocul lor. Eu sunt Domnul Dumnezeul lor.
