1 Let the whole earth shout joyfully to God 66:1 Ps 98:4; 100:1

5 Come and see the wonders of God 66:5 Ps 46:8

and they crossed the river on foot 66:6 Ex 14:21; Ps 106:9

There we rejoiced in him 66:6 Ex 15:1–21

7 He rules forever by his might;

he keeps his eye on the nations 66:7 Ps 14:2; 33:13–14; Pr 15:3

The rebellious should not exalt themselves 66:7 Ps 140:8Selah

8 Bless our God, you peoples;

let the sound of his praise be heard 66:8 Ps 98:4

you refined us as silver is refined 66:10 Jb 23:10; Ps 17:3; Is 48:10

11 You lured us into trap;

you placed burdens on our backs 66:11 Lm 1:13; Ezk 12:13; 17:20

12 You let men ride over our heads;

we went through fire and water,

but you brought us out to abundance 66:12 Or a place of satisfaction, 66:12 Ps 18:19; Is 43:2

13 I will enter your house with burnt offerings;

14 that my lips promised

and my mouth spoke during my distress 66:14 Ps 18:6; Jnh 2:9

15 I will offer you fattened sheep as burnt offerings,

with the fragrant smoke of rams;

I will sacrifice bulls with goats 66:15 Nm 6:14; Ps 51:19Selah

16 Come and listen, all who fear God,

and I will tell what he has done for me 66:16 Ps 9:1; 34:11; 71:15,24

17 I cried out to him with my mouth,

and praise was on my tongue 66:17 Ps 35:28

18 If I had been aware of malice in my heart,

the Lord would not have listened 66:18 Jb 36:21; Jn 9:31

19 However, God has listened;

he has paid attention to the sound of my prayer 66:19 Ps 116:1–2

He has not turned away my prayer

or turned his faithful love from me 66:20 Ps 22:24; 68:35
