den maktlöse,

hur har du inte stärkt

den svages arm!

3 Vilka råd har du inte gett

den ovise,

vilket överflöd av klokhet

har du inte lagt i dagen!

4 Med vems hjälp talar du dessa ord,

och vems ande utgår från dig?

5 De avlidna skälver,

likaså djupets vatten

och de som bor där.
