Salmos 20

To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

1 Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God*GodHebrew: Elohim of Jacob protect thee; 2 May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; 3 Remember all thine oblations, and accept thy burnt-offering; Selah. 4 Grant thee according to thy heart, and fulfil all thy counsels. 5 We will triumph in thy salvation, and in the name of our God*GodHebrew: Elohim will we set up our banners. Jehovah fulfil all thy petitions!

6 Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; he answereth him from the heavens of his holiness, with the saving strength of his right hand. 7 Some make mention of chariots, and some of horses, but we of the name of Jehovah our God*GodHebrew: Elohim8 They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright. 9 Save, Jehovah! Let the king answer us in the day we call.

1 OIGATE Jehová en el día de conflicto;

✝ 20.1 Pr. 18.10. Defiéndate el nombre del Dios de Jacob.

2 Envíete ayuda desde ✝20.2 2 Cr. 20.8. Sal. 73.17.el santuario,

Y desde ✝20.2 Sal. 128.5.Sión te sostenga.

3 Haga memoria de todos tus presentes,

Y reduzca á ceniza tu holocausto. (Selah.)

4 ✝ 20.4 Sal. 21.2. Déte conforme á tu corazón,

Y cumpla todo tu consejo.

5 Nosotros ✝20.5 Sal. 9.14.nos alegraremos por tu salud,

Y alzaremos pendón ✝20.5 Sal. 60.4.en el nombre de nuestro Dios:

Cumpla Jehová todas tus peticiones.

6 Ahora echo de ver que Jehová guarda á ✝20.6 Sal. 2.2 y 18.50.su ungido:

Oirálo desde los cielos de su santidad,

Con la fuerza de la salvación de su diestra.

7 ✝ 20.7 Pr. 21.31. Is. 31.1. Estos confían en carros, y aquéllos en caballos:

✝ 20.7 2 Cr. 32.8. Mas nosotros del nombre de Jehová nuestro Dios tendremos memoria.

8 Ellos arrodillaron, y cayeron;

Mas nosotros nos levantamos, y nos enhestamos.

9 Salva, Jehová:

Que el Rey nos oiga el día que lo invocáremos.
