Salmos 122

A Song of degrees. Of David.

1 I rejoiced when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of Jehovah. 2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. 3 Jerusalem, which art built as a city that is compact together, 4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of Jah, a testimony to Israel, to give thanks unto the name of Jehovah. 5 For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. 7 Peace be within thy bulwarks, prosperity within thy palaces. 8 For my brethren and companions' sakes I will say, Peace be within thee! 9 Because of the house of Jehovah our God*GodHebrew: Elohim I will seek thy good.

2 Nuestros pies estuvieron

En tus puertas, oh Jerusalem;

3 Jerusalem, que se ha edificado

4 ✝ 122.4 Ex. 23.17. Dt. 16.16. Y allá subieron las tribus, las tribus de JAH,

Conforme ✝122.4 Ex. 16.34.al testimonio dado á Israel,

Para alabar el nombre de Jehová.

5 ✝ 122.5 Dt. 17.8. 2 Cr. 19.8. Porque allá están las sillas del juicio,

Las sillas de la casa de David.

6 ✝ 122.6 Sal. 51.18. Pedid la paz de Jerusalem:

Sean prosperados los que te aman.

7 Haya paz en tu antemuro,

Y descanso en tus palacios.

8 Por amor de mis hermanos y mis compañeros

Hablaré ahora ✝122.8 1 S. 25.6.paz de ti.

9 A causa de la casa de Jehová nuestro Dios,
