1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no GodGodHebrew: Elohim They have corrupted themselves, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. 2 God looked down from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek GodGodHebrew: Elohim3 Every one of them is gone back, they are together become corrupt: there is none that doeth good, not even one. 4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, eating up my people as they eat bread? they call not upon GodGodHebrew: Elohim5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was; for GodGodHebrew: Elohim scattereth the bones of him that encampeth against thee. Thou hast put them to shame, for GodGodHebrew: Elohim hath despised them. 6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When GodGodHebrew: Elohim turneth again the captivity of his people, Jacob shall be glad, Israel shall rejoice.

Corrompiéronse é hicieron abominable maldad:
53.1 Ro. 3.10,12. No hay quien haga bien.
2 Dios desde los cielos miró sobre los hijos de los hombres,
Por ver si hay algún entendido
Que busque á Dios.
3 Cada uno se había 53.3 Sal. 35.4.vuelto atrás; todos se habían corrompido:
No hay quien haga bien, no hay ni aun uno.
4 ¿No tienen conocimiento todos esos que obran iniquidad?
53.4 Mi. 3.3. Que comen á mi pueblo como si comiesen pan:
A Dios no han invocado.
5 Allí se sobresaltaron de pavor 53.5 Lv. 26.17.donde no había miedo:
Porque Dios ha 53.5 Ez. 6.5.esparcido los 53.5 Sal. 141.7.huesos del que asentó campo contra ti:
Los avergonzaste, porque Dios los desechó.
6 ¡Oh quién diese de Sión saludes á Israel!
53.6 Sal. 126.1,2. En volviendo Dios la cautividad de su pueblo,
Gozarse ha Jacob, y alegraráse Israel.
