Salmos 62

To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.

1 Upon God*GodHebrew: Elohim alone doth my soul rest peacefully; from him is my salvation. 2 He only is my rock and my salvation; my high fortress: I shall not be greatly moved. 3 How long will ye assail a man; will ye seek, all of you, to break him down as a bowing wall or a tottering fence? 4 They only consult to thrust him down from his excellency; they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth, but in their inward part they curse. Selah. 5 Upon God*GodHebrew: Elohim alone, O my soul, rest peacefully; for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation; my high fortress: I shall not be moved. 7 With God*GodHebrew: Elohim is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God*GodHebrew: Elohim

8 Confide in him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before him: God*GodHebrew: Elohim is our refuge. Selah. 9 Men of low degree are only vanity; men of high degree, a lie: laid in the balance, they go up together lighter than vanity. 10 Put not confidence in oppression, and become not vain in robbery; if wealth increase, set not your heart upon it. 11 Once hath God*GodHebrew: Elohim spoken, twice have I heard this, that strength belongeth unto God*GodHebrew: Elohim12 And unto thee, O Lord, belongeth loving-kindness; for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

De él viene mi salud.

2 El solamente es mi fuerte, y mi salud;

Es mi refugio, ✝62.2 Sal. 37.24.no resbalaré mucho.

3 ¿Hasta cuándo maquinaréis contra un hombre?

Pereceréis todos vosotros,

4 Solamente consultan de arrojarle de su grandeza;

Aman la mentira,

Con su boca bendicen, ✝62.4 Sal. 28.3.pero maldicen en sus entrañas. (Selah.)

5 Alma mía, en Dios solamente reposa;

Porque de él es mi esperanza.

6 El solamente es mi fuerte y mi salud:

Es mi refugio, ✝62.6 ver. 2no resbalaré.

7 ✝ 62.7 Jer. 3.23. En Dios está mi salvación y mi gloria:

En Dios está la roca de mi fortaleza, y mi refugio.

8 Esperad en él en todo tiempo, oh pueblos;

Dios es nuestro amparo. (Selah.)

9 ✝ 62.9 Sal. 39.5. Ro. 3.4. Por cierto, vanidad son los hijos de los hombres, mentira los hijos de varón:

Pesándolos á todos igualmente en la balanza,

Serán menos que la vanidad.

2 Protección de los justos.

10 No confiéis en la violencia,

Ni en la rapiña; no os envanezcáis:
