Salmos 48

A Song; a Psalm. Of the sons of Korah.

1 Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God*GodHebrew: Elohim in the hill of his holiness. 2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. 3 God is known in her palaces as a high fortress. 4 For behold, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together; 5 They saw, — so they marvelled; they were troubled, they fled in consternation: 6 Trembling took hold upon them there; anguish, as of a woman in travail. 7 With an east wind thou hast broken the ships of Tarshish.

8 As we have heard, so have we seen, in the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God*GodHebrew: Elohim God*GodHebrew: Elohim doth establish it for ever. Selah. 9 We have thought, O God*GodHebrew: Elohim of thy loving-kindness, in the midst of thy temple. 10 According to thy name, O God*GodHebrew: Elohim so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. 11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments. 12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: count the towers thereof; 13 Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces: that ye may tell it to the generation following. 14 For this God*GodHebrew: Elohim is our God*GodHebrew: Elohim for ever and ever; he will be our guide until death.

1 GRANDE es Jehová y digno de ser en gran manera alabado,

1 Hermosura de Jerusalem.

2 Vanidad de las riquezas,

Es el monte de Sión, á los lados del aquilón,

3 Dios en sus palacios es conocido por refugio.

4 Porque he aquí los reyes de la tierra se reunieron;

Pasaron todos.

5 Y viéndola ellos así, maravilláronse,

Dolor, como á mujer que pare.

8 Como lo oímos, así hemos visto

9 Esperamos tu misericordia, oh Dios,

En medio de tu templo.

10 Conforme á ✝48.10 Dt. 28.58. Jos. 7.9. Sal. 113.3. Mal. 1.11,14.tu nombre, oh Dios,

Así es tu loor hasta los fines de la tierra:

De justicia está llena tu diestra.

11 Alegraráse el monte de Sión;

Se gozarán las ✝48.11 Sal. 97.8.hijas de Judá

Por tus juicios.

12 Andad alrededor de Sión, y rodeadla:

Contad sus torres.

13 Poned vuestro corazón á su antemuro,

Mirad sus palacios;

Para que lo contéis ✝48.13 Sal. 102.18.a la generación venidera.

14 Porque este Dios es Dios nuestro eternalmente y para siempre:

El nos ✝48.14 Is. 58.11.capitaneará hasta la muerte.
