44 Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress,

when he *Judg. 3:9;4:3;6:7;10:10heard their cry.

45 For their sake he *Ps. 105:8;Lev. 26:42remembered his covenant,

and *See Ps. 90:13relented according to *ver. 7;Ps. 51:1;69:16;Isa. 63:7;Lam. 3:32the abundance of his steadfast love.
