I Love the Lord

1 I *Ps. 18:1love the Lord, because he has *Ps. 66:19;118:21heard

my voice and my pleas for mercy.

2 Because he *[Ps. 31:2]inclined his ear to me,

therefore I will call on him as long as I live.

3 *See Ps. 18:4The snares of death encompassed me;

the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me;

I suffered distress and anguish.

"O Lord, I pray, deliver my soul!"
