# 25:1 This psalm is an acrostic poem, each verse beginning with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet Of David.

1 To you, O Lord, I *Ps. 86:4;143:8;Lam. 3:41;[Ps. 24:4]lift up my soul.

2 O my God, in you I *See Ps. 11:1trust;

*[Ps. 13:4]let not my enemies exult over me.

3 Indeed, *Isa. 49:23;[Rom. 5:5;Phil. 1:20] none who wait for you shall be put to shame;

they shall be ashamed who are *[Ps. 59:3,4] wantonly *[Jer. 3:20]treacherous.

4 *Ps. 27:11;86:11;143:8,10;Ex. 33:13;[Ps. 5:8;119:35]Make me to know your ways, O Lord;

teach me your paths.

5 Lead me in your *Ps. 26:3;86:11truth and teach me,

for you are the God of my salvation;

for you I wait all the day long.

and teaches the humble his way.

12 Who is the man who fears the Lord?
