6 Blessed be the Lord!

For he has *ver. 2heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.

7 The Lord is my strength and *See Ps. 3:3my shield;

in him my heart *See Ps. 11:1trusts, and I am helped;

my heart exults,

and with my *Ps. 69:30song I give thanks to him.
