Blessed Are the Forgiven

whose sin is covered.

2 Blessed is the man against whom the Lord*[2 Cor. 5:19] counts no iniquity,

and in whose spirit *John 1:47there is no deceit.

3 For when I kept silent, my *See Ps. 31:10bones wasted away

through my *See Ps. 22:1groaning all day long.

4 For day and night your *1 Sam. 5:6,11;[Ps. 38:2]hand was heavy upon me;

and I did not cover my iniquity;

they shall not reach him.
