Lucas 5

1 mapa And it came to pass, that as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret. És lõn, hogy mikor a sokaság hozzá tódult, hogy hallgassa az Isten beszédét, õ a Genezáret tavánál áll vala;
2 And saw two boats standing by the lake: but the fishermen had gone out of them, and were washing their nets. És láta két hajót állani a vizen: a halászok pedig, miután azokból kiszállottak, mossák vala az õ hálóikat.
3 And he entered into one of the boats, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the boat. És õ bemenvén az egyik hajóba, a mely a Simoné vala, kéré õt, hogy vigye egy kissé beljebb a földtõl: és mikor leült, a hajóból tanítá a sokaságot.
4 Now when he had left speaking, he said to Simon, Lanch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. Mikor pedig megszünt beszélni, monda Simonnak: Evezz a mélyre, és vessétek ki hálóitokat fogásra.
5 And Simon answering said to him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing; nevertheless, at thy word I will let down the net. És felelvén Simon, monda néki: Mester, jóllehet az egész éjszaka fáradtunk, még sem fogtunk semmit: mindazáltal a te parancsolatodra levetem a hálót.
6 And when they had done this, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net broke. És ezt megtévén, halaknak nagy sokaságát keríték be; szakadoz vala pedig az õ hálójuk.
7 And they beckoned to their partners, who were in the other boat, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. Intének azért társaiknak, a kik a másik hajóban valának, hogy jõjjenek és segítsenek nékik. És eljövén, megtölték mind a két hajót, annyira, hogy csaknem elsülyedének.
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. Látván pedig [ezt] Simon Péter, Jézusnak lábai elé esék, mondván: Eredj el én tõlem, mert [én] bûnös ember vagyok, Uram!
9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: Mert félelem fogta körül õt és mindazokat, a kik õ vele valának, a halfogás miatt, a melyet fogtak;
10 And so was also James and John the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not: from henceforth thou shalt catch men. Hasonlóképen Jakabot és Jánost is, a Zebedeus fiait, a kik Simonnak társai valának. És monda Simonnak Jézus: Ne félj; mostantól fogva embereket fogsz.
11 And when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all, and followed him. És a hajókat a szárazra vonván, elhagyák mindenöket és követék õt.
12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold, a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus, fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. És lõn, hogy mikor az egyik városban vala, ímé [vala ott] egy poklossággal teljes ember: és mikor meglátta Jézust, arczra borulva kéré õt, mondván: Uram, ha akarod, megtisztíthatsz engem!
13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: Be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. [Jézus] pedig kinyújtván kezét, illeté azt, mondván: Akarom, tisztulj meg. És azonnal eltávozék tõle a bélpoklosság.
14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded for a testimony to them. És õ megparancsolá néki, hogy azt senkinek se mondja el; hanem eredj el, [úgymond,] mutasd meg magad a papnak, és vígy áldozatot a te megtisztulásodért, a mint Mózes parancsolta, bizonyságul õ nékik.
15 But so much the more a fame of him went abroad: and great multitudes came together to hear and to be healed by him of their infirmities. A hír azonban annál inkább terjedt õ felõle; és nagy sokaság gyûle egybe, hogy õt hallgassák, és hogy általa meggyógyuljanak az õ betegségeikbõl.
16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. De õ félrevonula a pusztákba, és imádkozék.
17 mapa And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. És lõn egy napon, hogy õ tanít vala: és ott ülének a farizeusok és a törvénynek tanítói, a kik jöttek Galileának és Júdeának minden faluiból és Jeruzsálembõl: és az Úrnak hatalma vala õ vele, hogy gyógyítson.
18 And behold, men brought in a bed a man who was taken with the palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. És ímé valami férfiak ágyon egy embert hozának, a ki gutaütött vala; és igyekezének azt bevinni és õ elébe tenni.
19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in, because of the multitude, they went upon the house-top, and let him down through the tiling with his couch, into the midst before Jesus. De nem találván módot, hogy a sokaság miatt mikép vigyék õt be, felhágának a háztetõre, és a cseréphéjazaton át bocsáták õt alá ágyastól Jézus elé a középre.
20 And when he saw their faith, he said to him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee. És látván azoknak hitét, monda: Ember, megbocsáttattak néked a te bûneid.
21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this who speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone? Az írástudók pedig és a farizeusok elkezdének tanakodni, mondván: Kicsoda ez, a ki [ily] káromlást szól? Ki bocsáthatja meg a bûnt, hanemha egyedül az Isten?
22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering, said to them, What reason ye in your hearts? Jézus pedig észrevévén az õ tanakodásukat, felelvén, monda nékik: Mit tanakodtok a ti szívetekben?
23 Which is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee; or to say, Rise and walk? Melyik könnyebb, azt mondani: Megbocsáttattak néked a te bûneid; vagy azt mondani: Kelj fel és járj?
24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, He said to the sick with the palsy, I say to thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thy house. Hogy pedig megtudjátok, hogy az ember Fiának van hatalma e földön megbocsátani a bûnöket, (monda a gutaütöttnek): Néked mondom, kelj fel, és fölvévén nyoszolyádat, eredj haza!
25 And immediately he arose before them, and took up that on which he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. És [az] rögtön felkelvén azok szemeláttára, fölvevé a min feküdt, és elméne haza, dicsõítvén az Istent.
26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to-day. És az álmélkodás elfogá mindnyájukat, és dicsõíték az Istent, és betelének félelemmel, mondván: Bizony csodadolgokat láttunk ma!
27 And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said to him, Follow me. Ezek után pedig kiméne, és láta egy Lévi nevû vámszedõt, a ki a vámnál ül vala, és monda néki: Kövess engem!
28 And he left all, arose, and followed him. És az mindeneket elhagyván, felkele és követé õt.
29 And Levi made him a great feast in his own house; and there was a great company of publicans, and of others that sat down with them. És Lévi nagy lakomát készíte néki az õ házánál; és vala [ott] nagy sokasága a vámszedõknek és egyebeknek, a kik õ velök letelepedtek volt.
30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? És köztük az írástudók és farizeusok zúgolódának az õ tanítványai ellen, mondván: Miért esztek és isztok a vámszedõkkel és a bûnösökkel?
31 And Jesus answering, said to them, They that are well need not a physician; but they that are sick. És felelvén Jézus, monda nékik: Az egészségeseknek nincs szükségük orvosra, hanem a betegeknek.
32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Nem azért jöttem, hogy az igazakat hívjam, hanem a bûnösöket a megtérésre.
33 And they said to him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink? Azok pedig mondának néki: Mi az oka, hogy a János tanítványai gyakorta bõjtölnek és imádkoznak, valamint a farizeusokéi is; a te tanítványaid pedig esznek és isznak?
34 And he said to them, Can ye make the children of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? Õ pedig monda nékik: Avagy mívelhetitek-é azt, hogy a lakodalmasok bõjtöljenek, a míg a võlegény velök van?
35 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then they will fast in those days. De eljõnek a napok, és mikor a võlegény elvétetik õ tõlök, akkor majd bõjtölnek azokban a napokban.
36 And he spoke also a parable to them: No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old: if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new, agreeth not with the old. És monda nékik példabeszédet is: Senki nem toldja az új posztó foltot az ó posztóhoz; mert különben az újat is megszakasztja és az ó posztóhoz nem illik az újból való folt.
37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles will perish. És senki sem tölti az új bort ó tömlõkbe; mert különben az új bor megszakasztja a tömlõket, és a [bor] kiömöl, és a tömlõk [is] elvesznek.
38 But new wine must be put into new bottles, and both are preserved. Hanem az új bort új tömlõkbe kell tölteni, és mind a kettõ megmarad.
39 No man also having drank old wine, immediately desireth new: for he saith, The old is better. És senki, a ki ó [bort] iszik, mindjárt újat nem kiván, mert azt mondja: Jobb az ó.
