Praise for God’s Triumph

1 Hallelujah!

Sing to the Lord a new song,  * 149:1 Ps 33:3

3 Let them praise his name with dancing

and make music to him with tambourine and lyre.  * 149:3 Ps 30:11; 81:2

4 For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;  * 149:4 Ps 147:11; Rm 8:8; 1Co 1:21

he adorns the humble with salvation.  * 149:4 Ps 35:27; Is 61:3

5 Let the faithful celebrate in triumphal glory;
