1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 2 On the day of the first month, on the first of the month, shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 3 And thou shalt put in it the ark of the testimony, and shalt cover the ark with the veil. 4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it. And thou shalt bring in the candlestick and light its lamps. 5 And thou shalt set the golden altar for the incense before the ark of the testimony; and hang up the curtain of the entrance to the tabernacle. 6 And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 7 And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put water in it. 8 And thou shalt fix the court round about, and hang up the curtain at the gate of the court. 9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shalt hallow it, and all its utensils; and it shall be holy. 10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its utensils; and thou shalt hallow the altar, and the altar shall be most holy. 11 And thou shalt anoint the laver and its stand, and hallow it. 12 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons near, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and bathe them with water. 13 And thou shalt clothe Aaron with the holy garments, and anoint him, and hallow him, that he may serve me as priest. 14 And thou shalt bring his sons near, and clothe them with vests. 15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may serve me as priests. And their anointing shall be to them an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

16 And Moses did so: as Jehovah had commanded him, so did he. 17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first of the month, that the tabernacle was set up. 18 And Moses set up the tabernacle, and put in its bases, and fixed its boards, and put in its bars, and set up its pillars. 19 And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above over it; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and put the staves in the ark, and put the mercy-seat above on the ark. 21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and hung up the veil of separation, and covered the ark of the testimony; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 22 And he put the table in the tent of meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil, 23 and arranged the bread in order upon it before Jehovah; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 24 And he put the candlestick in the tent of meeting, opposite to the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward. 25 And he lighted the lamps before Jehovah; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil. 27 And he burnt on it fragrant incense; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 28 And he hung up the curtain of the entrance to the tabernacle. 29 And he put the altar of burnt-offering at the entrance to the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt-offering and the oblation; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 30 And he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing. 31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet out of it: 32 when they went into the tent of meeting, and when they drew near to the altar, they washed; as Jehovah had commanded Moses. 33 And he set up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and hung up the curtain of the gate of the court. And so Moses finished the work.

34 And the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle. 35 And Moses could not enter into the tent of meeting, for the cloud abode on it, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle. 36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel journeyed in all their journeys. 37 And if the cloud were not taken up, then they did not journey until the day that it was taken up. 38 For the cloud of Jehovah was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

Cap. 30:18. să-l așezi între cortul întâlnirii și altar și să pui apă în el. 8 Să așezi curtea de jur împrejur și să pui perdeaua la poarta curții. 9 Să iei untdelemnul pentru ungere, să ungi*Cap. 30:26. cu el cortul și tot ce cuprinde el și să-l sfințești, cu toate uneltele lui, și va fi sfânt. 10 Să ungi altarul pentru arderile-de-tot și toate uneltele lui și să sfințești altarul, și altarul va fi*Cap. 29:36,37. preasfânt. 11 Să ungi ligheanul cu piciorul lui și să-l sfințești. 12 Apoi să aduci*Lev. 8:1-13. pe Aaron și pe fiii lui la ușa cortului întâlnirii și să-i speli cu apă. 13 Să îmbraci pe Aaron cu veșmintele sfinte, să-l ungi*Cap. 28:41. și să-l sfințești, ca să-Mi facă slujba de preot. 14 Să chemi și pe fiii lui, să-i îmbraci cu tunicile 15 și să-i ungi cum ai uns pe tatăl lor, ca să-Mi facă slujba de preoți. În puterea acestei ungeri, ei vor avea pururea dreptul preoției printre urmașii*Num. 25:13. lor." 16 Moise a făcut întocmai cum îi poruncise Domnul; așa a făcut. 17 În ziua întâi a lunii întâi a anului al doilea, cortul*Vers. 1.Num. 7:1. era așezat. 18 Moise a așezat cortul; i-a pus picioarele, a așezat scândurile și verigile și a ridicat stâlpii. 19 A întins învelitoarea care slujea de acoperiș deasupra cortului și pe deasupra a pus învelitoarea acoperișului cortului, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul. 20 Apoi a luat mărturia*Cap. 25:16. și a pus-o în chivot; a pus drugii la chivot și a așezat capacul ispășirii deasupra chivotului. 21 A adus chivotul în cort; a atârnat*Cap. 26:33;35:12. perdeaua despărțitoare înaintea lui și a acoperit astfel chivotul mărturiei, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul. 22 A așezat masa*Cap. 26:35. în cortul întâlnirii, în partea de miazănoapte a cortului, dincoace de perdeaua dinăuntru; 23 și a pus*Vers. 4. pe ea pâinile înaintea Domnului, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul. 24 Apoi a așezat*Cap. 26:35. sfeșnicul în cortul întâlnirii, în fața mesei, în partea de miazăzi a cortului; 25 și i-a așezat*Vers. 4. Cap. 25:37. candelele înaintea Domnului, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul. 26 Apoi a așezat altarul*Vers. 5. Cap. 30:6. de aur în cortul întâlnirii în fața perdelei dinăuntru, 27 a ars pe el*Cap. 30:7. tămâie mirositoare, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul. 28 A așezat*Vers. 5. Cap. 26:36. perdeaua la ușa cortului. 29 A așezat altarul*Vers. 6. pentru arderile-de-tot la ușa locașului cortului întâlnirii și a adus pe*Cap. 29:38. el arderea-de-tot și jertfa de mâncare, cum poruncise lui Moise Domnul. 30 A așezat ligheanul*Vers. 7. Cap. 30:18. între cortul întâlnirii și altar și a pus în el apă pentru spălat. 31 Moise, Aaron și fiii lui și-au spălat mâinile și picioarele în el; 32 când intrau în cortul întâlnirii și se apropiau de altar, se spălau, cum*Cap. 30:19,20. poruncise lui Moise Domnul. 33 Apoi*Vers. 8. Cap. 27:9,16. a ridicat curtea împrejurul cortului și altarului și a pus perdeaua la poarta curții. Astfel a isprăvit Moise lucrarea.

34 Atunci, norul*Cap. 29:43.Lev. 16:2.Num. 9:15.1 Împ. 8:10,11.2 Cron. 5:13;7:2.Is. 6:4.Hag. 2:7,9.Apoc. 15:8. a acoperit cortul întâlnirii și slava Domnului a umplut cortul. 35 Moise nu putea*Lev. 16:2.1 Împ. 8:11.2 Cron. 5:14. să intre în cortul întâlnirii, pentru că norul stătea deasupra lui și slava Domnului umplea cortul. 36 Cât au ținut călătoriile lor, copiii lui Israel porneau numai când*Num. 9:17;10:11.Neem. 9:19. se ridica norul deasupra cortului. 37 Și când*Num. 9:19-22. nu se ridica norul, nu porneau până ce nu se ridica. 38 Norul Domnului*Cap. 13:21.Num. 9:15. era deasupra cortului ziua, iar noaptea era un foc înaintea întregii case a lui Israel, în timpul tuturor călătoriilor lor.
