1 And Moses collected all the assembly of the children of Israel, and said to them, These are the things which Jehovah has commanded, to do them. 2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of rest to Jehovah: whoever does work on it shall be put to death. 3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your dwellings upon the sabbath day. 4 And Moses spoke to all the assembly of the children of Israel, saying, This is the word which Jehovah has commanded, saying, 5 Take from among you a heave-offering to Jehovah: every one whose heart is willing, let him bring it, Jehovah’s heave-offering — gold, and silver, and copper, 6 and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats' hair, 7 and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and acacia-wood, 8 and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs; 9 and onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate. 10 And all who are wise-hearted among you shall come and make all that Jehovah has commanded: 11 the tabernacle, its tent, and its covering, its clasps, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its bases; 12 the ark, and its staves; the mercy-seat, and the veil of separation; 13 the table and its staves, and all its utensils, and the shewbread; 14 and the lamp-stand for the light, and its utensils, and its lamps, and the oil for the light; 15 and the altar of incense, and its staves; and the anointing-oil, and the incense of fragrant drugs; and the entrance-curtain at the entrance of the tabernacle; 16 the altar of burnt-offering, and the copper grating for it, its staves, and all its utensils; the laver and its stand; 17 the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases, and the curtains of the gate of the court; 18 the pegs of the tabernacle, and the pegs of the court, and their cords; 19 the garments of service, to do service in the sanctuary, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to serve as priests.

20 And all the assembly of the children of Israel departed from before Moses. 21 And they came, every one whose heart moved him, and every one whose spirit prompted him; they brought Jehovah’s heave-offering for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments. 22 And they came, both men and women; every one who was of willing heart brought nose-rings, and earrings, and rings, and bracelets, all kinds of utensils of gold: every man that waved a wave-offering of gold to Jehovah. 23 And every man with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats' hair, and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, brought them. 24 All they that offered a heave-offering of silver and copper brought Jehovah’s heave-offering. And every one with whom was found acacia-wood for all manner of work of the service, brought it. 25 And every woman that was wise-hearted spun with her hands, and brought what she had spun: the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the byssus. 26 And all the women whose heart moved them in wisdom spun goats' hair. 27 And the principal men brought the onyx stones, and the stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate; 28 and the spice, and the oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs. 29 The children of Israel brought a voluntary offering to Jehovah, every man and woman whose heart prompted them to bring for all manner of work, which Jehovah, by the hand of Moses, had commanded to be done.

30 And Moses said to the children of Israel, See, Jehovah has called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 31 and he has filled him with the spirit of God*GodHebrew: Elohim in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, 32 and to devise artistic things: to work in gold, and in silver, and in copper, 33 and in cutting of stones, for setting, and in carving of wood, to execute all artistic work; 34 and he has put in his heart to teach, he and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: 35 he has filled them with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work of the engraver, and of the artificer, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in byssus, and of the weaver, even of them that do every kind of work, and of those that devise artistic work.

1 Moise a strâns toată adunarea copiilor lui Israel și le-a zis: „Iată*Cap. 34:32. lucrurile pe care a poruncit Domnul să le faceți: 2 Șase*Cap. 20:9;31:14,15.Lev. 23:3.Num. 15:32.Deut. 5:12.Luca 13:14. zile să lucrați, dar ziua a șaptea să vă fie sfântă; acesta este Sabatul, ziua de odihnă închinată Domnului. Cine va face vreo lucrare în ziua aceea să fie pedepsit cu moartea. 3 Să n-aprindeți*Cap. 16:23. foc în niciuna din locuințele voastre în ziua Sabatului."

4 Moise a vorbit întregii adunări a copiilor lui Israel și a zis: „Iată*Cap. 25:1,2. ce a poruncit Domnul. 5 Luați din ce aveți și aduceți un prinos Domnului. Fiecare*Cap. 25:2. să aducă prinos Domnului ce-l lasă inima: aur, argint și aramă; 6 materii vopsite în albastru, în purpuriu, în cârmâziu, in subțire și păr de capră; 7 piei de berbec vopsite în roșu și piei de vițel de mare; lemn de salcâm, 8 untdelemn pentru sfeșnic, mirodenii*Cap. 25:6. pentru untdelemnul ungerii și pentru tămâia mirositoare; 9 pietre de onix și alte pietre pentru împodobirea efodului și a pieptarului. 10 Toți*Cap. 31:6. cei iscusiți dintre voi să vină și să facă tot ce a poruncit Domnul: 11 locașul*Cap. 26:1., cortul și acoperișul lui, copcile, scândurile, drugii, stâlpii și picioarele lui; 12 chivotul*Cap. 25:10. și drugii lui, capacul ispășirii și perdeaua dinăuntru pentru acoperirea chivotului; 13 masa*Cap. 25:23;25:30.Lev. 24:5,6. și drugii ei, cu toate uneltele ei, și pâinile pentru punerea înaintea Domnului; 14 sfeșnicul*Cap. 25:31. cu uneltele lui, candelele lui și*Cap. 30:1. untdelemnul pentru sfeșnic; 15 altarul*Cap. 30:23. pentru tămâie și drugii lui, untdelemnul pentru ungere și tămâia*Cap. 30:34. mirositoare, și perdeaua ușii de afară, de la intrarea cortului; 16 altarul*Cap. 27:1. pentru arderile-de-tot, grătarul lui de aramă, drugii lui și toate uneltele lui, ligheanul cu piciorul lui, 17 pânzele*Cap. 27:9. curții, stâlpii ei, picioarele ei și perdeaua de la poarta curții; 18 țărușii cortului, țărușii curții și funiile lor; 19 veșmintele*Cap. 31:10;39:1,41.Num. 4:5. preoțești pentru slujba Sfântului Locaș, veșmintele sfinte ale preotului Aaron și veșmintele fiilor lui pentru slujbele preoțești." 20 Toată adunarea copiilor lui Israel a ieșit dinaintea lui Moise. 21 Toți cei cu tragere*Vers. 22,26,29. Cap. 25:2;36:2.1 Cron. 28:2,9;29:9.Ezra 7:27.2 Cron. 8:12;9:7. de inimă și bunăvoință au venit și au adus un prinos Domnului pentru lucrarea cortului întâlnirii, pentru toată slujba lui și pentru veșmintele sfinte. 22 Au venit îndată bărbații și femeile, toți cei cu tragere de inimă și au adus belciuge de nas, inele, cercei, brățări, salbe și tot felul de lucruri de aur; fiecare a adus prinosul de aur, pe care-l închinase Domnului. 23 Toți*1 Cron. 29:8. cei ce aveau stofe (materii) vopsite în albastru, în purpuriu, în cârmâziu, din in subțire și păr de capră, piei de berbec vopsite în roșu și piei de vițel de mare le-au adus. 24 Toți cei ce puteau aduce prin ridicare un prinos de argint și de aramă au adus prinosul Domnului. Toți cei ce aveau lemn de salcâm bun pentru lucrările rânduite pentru slujbă l-au adus. 25 Toate femeile*Cap. 28:3;31:6;36:1.2 Împ. 23:7.Prov. 31:19,22,24. iscusite au tors cu mâinile lor și au adus lucrul lor, și anume: tort vopsit în albastru, în purpuriu, în cârmâziu și in subțire. 26 Toate femeile cu tragere de inimă și iscusite au tors păr de capră. 27 Fruntașii*1 Cron. 29:6.Ezra 2:68. poporului au adus pietre de onix și alte pietre pentru efod și pieptar; 28 mirodenii*Cap. 30:23. și untdelemn, pentru sfeșnic, pentru untdelemnul ungerii și pentru tămâia mirositoare. 29 Toți copiii lui Israel, bărbați și femei, pe care-i trăgea*Vers. 21.1 Cron. 29:9. inima să ajute la lucrul poruncit de Domnul prin Moise au adus Domnului daruri de bunăvoie.

30 Moise a zis copiilor lui Israel: „Să știți că Domnul*Cap. 31:2. a ales pe Bețaleel, fiul lui Uri, fiul lui Hur, din seminția lui Iuda. 31 L-a umplut cu Duhul lui Dumnezeu, duh de înțelepciune, pricepere și știință pentru tot felul de lucrări. 32 I-a dat putere să născocească planuri, să lucreze în aur, în argint și în aramă, 33 să sape în pietre și să le lege, să lucreze lemnul cu meșteșug și să facă tot felul de lucrări meșteșugite. 34 I-a dat și darul să învețe pe alții, atât lui, cât și lui Oholiab*Cap. 31:6., fiul lui Ahisamac, din seminția lui Dan. 35 I-a umplut*Vers. 31. Cap. 31:3,6.1 Împ. 7:14.2 Cron. 2:14.Is. 28:26. cu pricepere, ca să facă toate lucrările de săpătură în piatră, de cioplitură meșteșugită, de lucrat la gherghef și de țesut materii vopsite în albastru, în purpuriu, în cârmâziu și in subțire, să facă tot felul de lucrări și născociri de planuri."
