1 [A Psalm of David.] Give unto Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty ones, give unto Jehovah glory and strength;

2 Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; worship Jehovah in holy splendour.

3 The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: the *God of glory thundereth, -Jehovah upon great waters.

4 The voice of Jehovah is powerful; the voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

5 The voice of Jehovah breaketh cedars; yea, Jehovah breaketh the cedars of Lebanon:

6 And he maketh them to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young buffalo.

7 The voice of Jehovah cleaveth out flames of fire.

8 The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests; and in his temple doth every one say, Glory!

10 Jehovah sitteth upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sitteth as king for ever.

11 Jehovah will give strength unto his people; Jehovah will bless his people with peace.

1 (Un psalm al lui David.) Fiii lui Dumnezeu, daţi Domnului, daţi Domnului slavă şi cinste.

2 Daţi Domnului slava cuvenită Numelui Lui! Închinaţi-vă înaintea Domnului îmbrăcaţi cu podoabe sfinte!

3 Glasul Domnului răsună pe ape, Dumnezeul slavei face să bubue tunetul: Domnul este pe ape mari.

4 Glasul Domnului este puternic, glasul Domnului este măreţ.

5 Glasul Domnului sfarmă cedrii; Domnul sfarmă cedrii Libanului;

6 îi face să sară ca nişte viţei, şi Libanul şi Sirionul sar ca nişte pui de bivoli.

7 Glasul Domnului face să ţîşnească flăcări de foc,

8 glasul Domnului face să se cutremure pustia; Domnul face să tremure pustia Cades.

9 Glasul Domnului face pe cerboaice să nască; El despoaie pădurile; în locaşul Lui totul strigă: ,,Slavă!``

10 Domnul stătea pe scaunul Lui de domnie cînd cu potopul, şi Domnul împărăţeşte în veci pe scaunul Lui de domnie.

11 Domnul dă tărie poporului Său, Domnul binecuvintează pe poporul Său cu pace.
