1 He that is a eunuch, whether he have been crushed or cut, shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah. 2 A bastard shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah; even his tenth generation shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah. 3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah; even their tenth generation shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah for ever; 4 because they met you not with bread and with water on the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor, of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee. 5 But Jehovah thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim would not listen to Balaam; and Jehovah thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim turned the curse into blessing unto thee, because Jehovah thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim loved thee. 6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever. 7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother. Thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a sojourner in his land. 8 Children that are born to them shall come into the congregation of Jehovah in the third generation.

9 When thou goest forth into camp against thine enemies, then keep thee from every evil thing. 10 If there be with thee a man that is not clean from what hath happened in the night, then shall he go outside the camp; he shall not come inside the camp; 11 and it shall be, towards evening, he shall bathe in water: and at the going down of the sun he may come inside the camp. 12 Thou shalt have a place also outside the camp, and shalt go forth thither. 13 And thou shalt have a shovel amongst thy weapons, and it shall be, when thou sittest down abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which is come from thee. 14 For Jehovah thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; and thy camp shall be holy, that he see nothing unseemly with thee, and turn away from thee.

15 Thou shalt not hand over to his master a bondman that hath escaped from his master unto thee: 16 he shall dwell with thee, even in thy midst, in the place that he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it seemeth good to him; thou shalt not oppress him. 17 There shall be no prostitute amongst the daughters of Israel, nor any Sodomite amongst the sons of Israel. 18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or the price of a dog, into the house of Jehovah thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim for any vow; for even both these are an abomination to Jehovah thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim19 Thou shalt take no interest of thy brother, interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of anything that can be lent upon interest: 20 of a foreigner thou mayest take interest, but of thy brother thou shalt not take interest; that Jehovah thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim may bless thee in all the business of thy hand in the land whither thou goest to possess it. 21 When thou vowest a vow to Jehovah thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim thou shalt not delay to perform it; for Jehovah thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim will certainly require it of thee, and it shall be sin in thee. 22 But if thou forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee. 23 What is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and do, as thou hast vowed to Jehovah thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim the voluntary-offering that thou hast promised with thy mouth. 24 When thou comest into thy neighbour’s vineyard, thou mayest eat grapes thy fill, according to thy desire, but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel. 25 When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, thou mayest pluck ears with thy hand; but thou shalt not wave the sickle against thy neighbour’s standing corn.

1 Cel scopit, sau famenul, să nu intre în adunarea Domnului. 2 Cel născut din curvie să nu intre în adunarea Domnului, nici chiar al zecelea neam al lui să nu intre în adunarea Domnului. 3 Amonitul*Neem. 13:1,2. și moabitul să nu intre în adunarea Domnului, nici chiar al zecelea neam, pe vecie, 4 pentru că*Cap. 2:29. nu v-au ieșit înainte cu pâine și apă pe drum, la ieșirea voastră din Egipt, și pentru că*Num. 22:5,6. au adus, pe preț de argint, împotriva ta pe Balaam, fiul lui Beor, din Petor, din Mesopotamia, ca să te blesteme. 5 Dar Domnul Dumnezeul tău n-a voit să asculte pe Balaam și Domnul Dumnezeul tău a schimbat blestemul acela în binecuvântare, pentru că tu ești iubit de Domnul Dumnezeul tău. 6 Să*Ezra 9:12. nu-ți pese nici de propășirea lor, nici de bunăstarea lor toată viața ta, pe vecie. 7 Să nu urăști pe edomit, căci*Gen. 25:24-26.Obad. 10,12. este fratele tău; să nu urăști pe egiptean, căci ai fost străin*Exod 22:21;23:9.Lev. 19:34. Cap. 10:19. în țara lui: 8 fiii care li se vor naște, în al treilea neam, să intre în adunarea Domnului.

9 Când vei ieși cu oastea împotriva vrăjmașilor tăi, ferește-te de orice lucru rău. 10 Dacă va*Lev. 15:16. fi la tine cineva care să nu fie curat în urma vreunei întâmplări din timpul nopții, să iasă din tabără și să nu intre în tabără; 11 spre seară să se scalde*Lev. 15:5. în apă și, după asfințitul soarelui, va putea să se întoarcă în tabără. 12 Să ai un loc afară din tabără și acolo să ieși afară. 13 Între uneltele tale să ai o lopată cu care să sapi și să-ți acoperi murdăriile ieșite din tine, când vei ieși afară. 14 Căci Domnul Dumnezeul tău merge*Lev. 26:12. în mijlocul taberei tale, ca să te ocrotească și să-ți dea în mână pe vrăjmașii tăi dinaintea ta; tabăra ta va trebui deci să fie sfântă, pentru ca Domnul să nu vadă la tine nimic necurat și să nu Se abată de la tine.

15 Să nu dai înapoi stăpânului său pe un rob*1 Sam. 30:15. care va fugi la tine după ce l-a părăsit. 16 Să rămână la tine, în mijlocul tău, în locul pe care-l va alege el, într-una din cetățile tale, unde îi va plăcea: să nu-l asuprești*Exod 22:21.. 17 Să nu fie nicio curvă din fetele*Lev. 19:29.Prov. 2:16. lui Israel și să nu fie niciun sodomit*Gen. 19:5.2 Împ. 23:7. din fiii lui Israel. 18 Să n-aduci în casa Domnului Dumnezeului tău câștigul unei curve, nici prețul unui câine, ca împlinire a unei juruințe oarecare, căci și unul, și altul sunt o urâciune înaintea Domnului Dumnezeului tău.

19 Să nu*Exod 22:25.Lev. 25:36,37.Neem. 5:2,7.Ps. 15:5.Luca 6:34,35. ceri nicio dobândă de la fratele tău: nici pentru argint, nici pentru merinde, pentru nimic care se împrumută cu dobândă. 20 De la străin*Lev. 19:34. Cap. 15:3. vei putea să iei dobândă, dar de la fratele tău să nu iei, pentru ca Domnul*Cap. 15:10. Dumnezeul tău să te binecuvânteze în tot ce vei face în țara pe care o vei lua în stăpânire.

21 Dacă*Num. 30:2.Ecl. 5:4,5. faci o juruință Domnului Dumnezeului tău, să nu pregeți s-o împlinești, căci Domnul Dumnezeul tău îți va cere socoteală, și te vei face vinovat de un păcat. 22 Dacă te ferești să faci o juruință, nu faci un păcat. 23 Dar să păzești și să împlinești ce-ți va ieși*Num. 30:2.Ps. 66:13,14. de pe buze, și anume juruințele pe care le vei face de bunăvoie Domnului Dumnezeului tău și pe care le vei rosti cu gura ta. 24 Dacă intri în via aproapelui tău, vei putea să mănânci struguri, după plac, până te vei sătura, dar în vas să nu iei. 25 Dacă intri în holdele aproapelui tău, vei putea să culegi spice*Mat. 12:1.Marcu 2:23.Luca 6:1. cu mâna, dar secera în holdele aproapelui tău să n-o pui.
