1 Y DÍJOME Jehová: ✝15.1 cp. 7.16 y 14.11. Ez. 11.14,16,18,20.Si ✝15.1 Sal. 106.23.Moisés y Samuel se pusieran delante de mí, mi voluntad no será con este pueblo: échalos de delante de mí, y salgan.

2 Y será que si te preguntaren: ¿Á dónde saldremos? les dirás: Así ha dicho Jehová: ✝15.2 cp. 43.11. Ez. 5.12. Zac. 11.9.El que á muerte, á muerte; y el que á cuchillo, á cuchillo; y el que á hambre, á hambre; y el que á cautividad, á cautividad.

3 Y enviaré sobre ellos cuatro géneros, dice Jehová: cuchillo para matar, y perros para despedazar, y aves del cielo y bestias de la tierra, para devorar y para disipar.

4 Y entregarélos á ser agitados por todos los reinos de la tierra, á ✝15.4 2 R. 21.11,16,17 y 23.26 y 24.3,4. cp. 16.12.causa de Manasés hijo de Ezechîas rey de Judá, por lo que hizo en Jerusalem.

5 Porque ¿quién tendrá compasión de ti, oh Jerusalem? ¿ó quién se entristecerá por tu causa? ¿ó quién ha de venir á preguntar por tu paz?

6 Tú me dejaste, dice Jehová, atrás te volviste: por tanto yo extenderé sobre ti mi mano, y te destruiré; ✝15.6 Os. 13.14.estoy cansado de arrepentirme.

7 Y aventélos con aventador hasta las puertas de la tierra; desahijé, desbaraté mi pueblo; no se tornaron de sus caminos.

8 Sus viudas se multiplicaron más que la arena de la mar; traje contra ellos destruidor á medio día sobre la madre y los hijos; sobre la ciudad hice que de repente cayesen terrores.

9 Enflaquecióse la que parió siete; llenóse de dolor su alma; su sol se le puso siendo aún de día; fué avergonzada y llena de confusión: y lo que de ella quedare, entregarélo á cuchillo delante de sus enemigos, dice Jehová.

10 ¡Ay de mí, ✝15.10 cp. 20.14.madre mía, que me has engendrado hombre de contienda y hombre de discordia á toda la tierra! Nunca les dí á logro, ni lo tomé de ellos; y todos me maldicen.

11 Dijo Jehová: De cierto tus reliquias serán en bien; de cierto haré que el enemigo te salga á recibir en el tiempo trabajoso, y en el tiempo de angustia.

12 ¿Quebrará el hierro ✝15.12 cp. 1.13.al hierro de la parte de aquilón, y al bronce?

13 Tus riquezas y tus tesoros daré á saco sin ningún precio, por todos tus pecados, y en todos tus términos;

14 Y te haré pasar á tus enemigos ✝15.14 cp. 16.13 y 17.4.en tierra que no conoces: porque fuego se ha encendido en mi furor, y arderá sobre vosotros.

15 Tú lo sabes, oh Jehová; acuérdate de mí, y visítame, y véngame de mis enemigos. No me tomes en la prolongación de tu enojo: sabes que ✝15.15 Sal. 69.7.por amor de ti sufro afrenta.

16 Halláronse tus palabras, y yo ✝15.16 Ez. 3.1,3. Ap. 10.9,10.las comí; y tu palabra me fué por gozo y por alegría de mi corazón: porque tu nombre se invocó sobre mí, oh Jehová Dios de los ejércitos.

17 ✝ 15.17 Lm. 3.28. No me senté en compañía de burladores, ni me engreí á causa de tu profecía; sentéme solo, porque me llenaste de desabrimiento.

18 ¿Por qué fué perpetuo mi dolor, y mi herida desahuciada no admitió cura? ¿Serás para mí como cosa ilusoria, como aguas que no son estables?

19 Por tanto así dijo Jehová: ✝15.19 Zac. 3.7.Si te convirtieres, yo te repondré, y delante de mí estarás; y si sacares lo precioso de lo vil, serás como mi boca. Conviértanse ellos á ti, y tú no te conviertas á ellos.

20 Y te daré para este pueblo por fuerte muro ✝15.20 cp. 1.18 y 6.27.de bronce, y pelearán contra ti, y ✝15.20 cp. 20.11.no te vencerán: porque yo estoy contigo para guardarte y para defenderte, dice Jehová.

21 Y librarte he de la mano de los malos, y te redimiré de la mano de los fuertes.

Ko ngā mea mō te mate, ki te mate,

ā, ko ngā mea mā te hoari, ki te hoari;

ko ngā mea hoki mō te hemokai, ki te hemokai;

ā, ko ngā mea mō te whakarau, ki te whakarau.’

3 "E whā hoki ngā tū mea e whakaritea e ahau mō rātou," e ai tā Ihowā, "ko te hoari hei whakamate, ko ngā kurī hei haehae, ā, ko ngā manu o te rangi, ko ngā kararehe hoki o te whenua hei kai, hei whakamōtī. 4 Ka tukua hoki rātou e ahau kia poipoia haeretia i waenga i ngā kīngitanga katoa o te whenua, mō tā Mānahi tama a Hetekia kīngi o Hūrā, mō tāna i mea ai ki Hiruhārama.

5 Ko wai oti e tohu i a koe, e Hiruhārama,

ko wai rānei e tangi ki a koe?

Ko wai e peka atu ki te ui,

kei te ora rānei koe?

6 Kua whakarērea ahau e koe," e ai tā Ihowā,

"kua hoki whakamuri koe.

Koia i totoro atu ai tōku ringa ki a koe, i whakamōtītia ai koe;

kua hōhā ahau ki te rīpenetā.

7 Kua pōwhiriwhiritia rātou e ahau ki te mea pōwhiriwhiri

i ngā kūwaha o te whenua;

kua whakapania rātou e ahau i te tamariki,

kua ngaro i ahau tāku iwi;

kāhore rātou i tahuri mai i ō rātou ara.

8 Ko ā rātou pouaru i tōku aroaro kua tokomaha atu

i te onepū o ngā moana;

kua kawea e ahau ki a rātou, hei hoariri mō te whaea o ngā taitama,

he kaipāhua i te poutūmārōtanga;

kua meinga e ahau kia pā whakarere

ki a ia te pāwera me te tūmatatenga.

9 Ngohe kau te wahine ka tokowhitu nei āna tamariki;

kua hemo tōna wairua;

kua rere tōna rā i te mea ko te awatea nei anō;

kua whakamā hoki ia, kua numinumi kau.

Ka tukua atu hoki e ahau ō rātou mōrehu ki te hoari

i te aroaro o ō rātou hoariri,"

e ai tā Ihowā.

10 Auē, tōku mate, e tōku whaea, i whānau mai ahau

i roto i a koe he tangata totohe,

he tangata ngangare ki te whenua katoa!

Kīhai ahau i whakatārewa atu i te moni whakatupu,

kīhai anō te moni whakatupu i whakatārewaina mai ki ahau;

otiia kei te kanga rātou katoa ki ahau.

11 I mea a Ihowā:

"He pono ka whakakahangia koe e ahau mō te pai;

he pono ka meinga e ahau te hoariri kia īnoi ki a koe

i te wā o te hē, i te wā o te mamae.

12 "E taea rānei e tētahi te wāhi te rino,

te rino o te raki, te parāhi rānei?

13 Ka hoatu e ahau ōu rawa me ōu taonga

hei taonga parakete, kāhore hoki he utu,

ā, hei mea tērā mō ōu hara katoa,

arā i ōu rohe katoa.

14 Ā, ka meinga rātou e ahau kia haere tahi me ōu hoariri

ki te whenua kīhai i mōhiotia e koe;

nō te mea kei te ngiha he ahi i ahau e riri nei,

kā tonu atu ki a koutou."

15 E Ihowā, e mōhio ana koe;

mahara ki ahau, tirohia ahau,

rapua he utu mō tōku matenga i ōku kaitūkino.

Kaua ahau e tangohia atu i a koe ka pūhoi nei ki te riri;

kia mōhio koe, mōu ahau i tāwaia ai.

16 I kitea āu kupu, ā, kainga ake e ahau,

ā, ki ahau hei whakakoa,

hei whakahari āu kupu mō tōku ngākau;

kua huaina hoki tōu ingoa mōku,

e Ihowā, e te Atua o ngā mano.

17 Kīhai ahau i noho i roto i te whakaminenga o te hunga whakahī,

kīhai i whakamanamana atu;

i noho mokemoke ahau, he whakaaro ki tōu ringa;

kua whakakīia nei hoki ahau e koe ki te riri.

18 He aha tōku mamae i mau tonu ai,

tōku patunga tē mahu ai,

tē pai ai ki te rongoā?

Ka rite rawa rānei koe ki ahau me te awa pāremoremo,

me ngā wai e kore e mau?

19 Mō reira ko te kupu tēnei a Ihowā:

"Ki te hoki koe nā ka whakahokia koe e ahau,

kia tū ai koe ki tōku aroaro,

ā, ki te tangohia atu e koe te mea utu nui i te mea kino,

ka rite koe ki tōku māngai.

Ko rātou e hoki ki a koe,

kaua ia koe e hoki ki a rātou.

20 Ka meinga hoki koe e ahau ki tēnei iwi

hei taiepa parāhi;

ā, ka whawhai rātou ki a koe,

otiia e kore rātou e kaha ki a koe;

nō te mea kei a koe ahau

hei whakaora i a koe, e mawhiti ai koe,"

e ai tā Ihowā.

21 "Ka meinga anō koe e ahau kia mawhiti i roto i te ringa o te hunga kino,

ka hokona anō koe e ahau i roto i te ringa o te hunga nanakia."
