1 I love Yahweh, because he hears My voice and my supplications.2 Because he has inclined his ear to me, Therefore I will call [on him] as long as I live.3 The cords of death surrounded me, And the pains of Sheol got hold on me: I found trouble and sorrow.4 Then I called on the name of Yahweh: O Yahweh, I urge you, deliver my soul.5 Gracious is Yahweh, and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful.6 Yahweh preserves the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me.7 Return to your rest, O my soul; For Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you.8 For you have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, [And] my feet from falling.9 I will walk before Yahweh In the land of the living.10 I believe, for I will speak: I was greatly afflicted:11 I said in my haste, Everyone of man is a liar.12 What shall I render to Yahweh For all his benefits toward me?13 I will take the cup of salvation, And call on the name of Yahweh.14 I will pay my vows to Yahweh, Yes, in the presence of all his people.15 Precious in the sight of Yahweh Is the death of his saints.16 O Yahweh, truly I am your slave: I am your slave, the son of your female slave; You have loosed my bonds.17 I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call on the name of Yahweh.18 I will pay my vows to Yahweh, Yes, in the presence of all his people,19 In the courts of Yahweh's house, In the midst of you, O Jerusalem. 1 Eu amo o Senhor, porque ele me ouviu quando lhe fiz a minha súplica.2 Ele inclinou os seus ouvidos para mim; eu o invocarei toda a minha vida.3 As cordas da morte me envolveram, as angústias do Sheol vieram sobre mim; aflição e tristeza me dominaram.4 Então clamei pelo nome do Senhor: "Livra-me, Senhor! "5 O Senhor é misericordioso e justo; o nosso Deus é compassivo.6 O Senhor protege os simples; quando eu já estava sem forças, ele me salvou.7 Retorne ao seu descanso, ó minha alma, porque o Senhor tem sido bom para você!8 Pois tu me livraste da morte, os meus olhos, das lágrimas e os meus pés, de tropeçar,9 para que eu pudesse andar diante do Senhor na terra dos viventes.10 Eu cri, ainda que tenha dito: "Estou muito aflito".11 Em pânico eu disse: "Ninguém merece confiança".12 Como posso retribuir ao Senhor toda a sua bondade para comigo?13 Erguerei o cálice da salvação e invocarei o nome do Senhor.14 Cumprirei para com o Senhor os meus votos, na presença de todo o seu povo.15 O Senhor vê com pesar a morte de seus fiéis.16 Senhor, sou teu servo, Sim, sou teu servo, filho da tua serva; livraste-me das minhas correntes.17 Oferecerei a ti um sacrifício de gratidão e invocarei o nome do Senhor.18 Cumprirei para com o Senhor os meus votos, na presença de todo o seu povo,19 nos pátios da casa do Senhor, no seu interior, ó Jerusalém!
